Came in restaurant at 8:15pm, a flashing "OPEN" sign on two sides of the building. Immediately greeted with a deer in the headlights look by the entire staff. Said we'd like the buffet, staff look at each other again, ask if we want to go look at the buffet first. Ok, check it out, no empty pans, looks fine so we walk back to the front and say it looks fine, we'll stay. Staff looks at each other again. Then, we're asked if we want it to go. I say "No, we'd like to eat here, it says you're open until 9pm online." So, we're hastily seated, as the entire rest of the staff has a visible irritated reaction. I ask "Do we need to get it to go?" I believe at this point, the gentleman seating us realized we were noticing the hostility and for the only brief moment of professionalism during our visit, said no and smiled. We quickly filled a plate and sat to eat. The vibe from the entire staff was rude. Six or seven staff members stared at us the entire time from various spots around the restaurant. One woman stood at the buffet the entire time, as though she couldn't tear it down now. I understand we came in late. However, the restaurant was not closing for another 45 minutes, the entire buffet was still set up, YOU ADVERTISE that you're open until 9pm and drive it home with flashing neon signs on two sides of your building! Don't make customers feel unwelcome. Food seemed fine, at the time. Two out of three of us felt rough this morning, one throwing up. Amazingly, your terrible customer service and atmosphere somehow outshines the possibility that the food made us sick. I still tipped 20%+, as I'm in the industry and understand that it was getting late-- but, 45 minutes before close isn't closed.
I have gotten food togo several times, and it's always been great! This was my 2nd time dining in. The first time we were seated next to the server station. Three servers were within 10' of us nearly the entire time. It felt awkward like they were talking about the patrons. At one point, the guy that seemed to be in charge, made a hand to mouth sucking on "something" gesture to the other male standing there. He saw me see him. Super classy. I'll still get take out, but I don't know about dine in. I guess only peak times and not next to...
Read moreI love this place and the only people I've ever known to dislike it are people who either don't like Asian food or don't like buffets in general. I have to admit that the staff, naturally, can be a little difficult to understand sometimes, but it goes both ways as they can't always understand what the customers are saying. This is only a very minor inconvenience, though, as they are usually able to figure out what you're trying to say and vice versa. The food selection is pretty good. They have plenty of food for people like me who very much prefer meat over fruit and vegetables (there are frog legs, meatballs, plenty of different types of chicken, and more). But they also have a lot of food for people who like fruits and vegetables, as there is a whole counter full of fruit and a lot of the food has vegetables in it. I don't like sushi personally but I know people who love sushi and they will rave about the sushi bar here. The staff is polite and very attentive. I don't think that I've ever had an empty plate sit on the end of the table waiting to be taken for very long, nor do I think I've ever had a cup get even close to empty before I was asked if I'd like more. They don't mind at all if you want to sit in a particular place (my family is very OCD and so they request the same spot every time). One of my favorite...
Read moreI wouldn't even give this place one star! The food was absolutely disgusting! The noodles lo mein were so hard that when I spit them out they clinked on the plate! The bathroom smells like raw sewage. The only thing that I had that was good was the crab rangoons but it's pretty hard to mess those up!!! They could have been filled a little more in cooked a little less in the fryer but overall the flavor was there in the crab rangoons. Everything else was absolutely disgusting I spit almost everything back into a napkin! DO NOT EAT HERE!!! My husband even grimaced a couple times while eating the food and he could eat a dog turd out...
