Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Ankeny

Ordered online 30-35 minutes before I drove to their location. I spoke to the employee at the drive through and informed him I placed my order online and I ordered pick up via drive through. He told me ok. I waited for 10 minutes before I got to the window. Then they tell me it will be about another 5-10 minutes and then to pull around to the front and come in and wait. The whole reason I ordered early and the way I did was cause I was in a hurry and even ordered early so they had plenty of time. JJ’s is no longer freaky fast. When I got home to open my sandwich it wasn’t what I ordered. It was wrong meat, no veggies, it was toasted when I didn’t want it toasted and no condiments that I requested as well. I think I’m done as this is happening more and more at all...

I had to call them when they didn't understand what my address was. I literally retold them the address as it was typed in and they were like oh and understood... took me an hour to get my food. I literally ordered from here due to JJ normally being pretty quick and I live literally 5 min away. I just was trying to feed my kids, had pretty simple sandwiches and still it took over an hour... I don't even care if they were busy the fact that I called them 45 min in and THEN they ask me about my address and blame it on that is bull. I will never order from here again I would rather order from one that's further away! I have done that and got it in half the time......

It's JJs. We all know it tastes decent. The consistency is alright. It's the delivery that's an issue. For the 4th time today from this location, I've waited for an hour for my order of 1 sandwich to arrive. Considering my place is within walking distance to the store, (just over a mile) you'd think this wouldn't ever be an issue. I get deliveries because I work from home and can't really step away from my laptop during lunch. Once is understandable, things happen. But 4 times over the course of like 10 orders? Something has to change here. Hire more drivers, or pay them better to retain them. Seems like "Freaky Fast" is a Freaking Farce at...
