Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Ankeny

This review is for the customers who complain without knowing what goes on behind the counter tops. A. When your online order doesn't arrive by the time you scheduled it to it means they are LOW STAFFED. B. When the drive thru says inshop only it means they are low on staff AND ingredients and can't afford lots of drive thru orders. C. If you write a bad review based on inshop wait times it most likely means that they are running low on ingredients. They only have ONE produce slicer. I understand you know the slogan "freaky fresh, freaky fast" but they are humans not robots. Have a little bit of patience they are working as fast as they can. D. As a fellow jj customer I understand you are hungry but don't get mad at the people who literally make your food. They are doing their best to provide your food all while having like 2 people working not only inshop but also drive thru while managing produce production, cleanliness of the dining area, cleanliness of the restrooms etc. It's a lot to do while being short staffed and having people yell at them. Imagine you getting yelled at daily for just doing your job. You'd quit your job...

Placed an online order at 12:30 Pm . The app said I placed it at 12:50PM. I placed my order while my coworker took her lunchat 12:30. My lunch was at 1:00. Well at 1:25 pm my sandwich was not delivered and my lunch was over. I called the manager at store 360, She was rude. She said her staff was busy, they had a lot of orders. I could cancel my order. I said if I do that What will I eat? She made excuse after excuse. Not once did she apologise. I might have understood if she wasnt Rude. Not a single apology. As I Walked in a lady came up to me and said “don’t order what I wouldn’t order” and proceeded to walk out. ( idk who the woman was ) As I looked at the employees one girl was laughing and asking the other employee “whats wrong with her” As I go up to the counter I wanted to know more about the firecracker wrap and how big it is. The employee (A guy) seems annoyed and was answering very rudely and unprofessional.
