UPDATE: They reached out to me after I posted this review and said they would give me a refund. 3 months later, I still have yet to receive any compensation. I haven't been back since this review and I will never be returning in the future. Sorry, not sorry. Hands down this has got to be to worst experience I have ever seen with a restaurant. Things were fine until I got to the counter to place my our order. -------------------------------------------- The food: First off, we were wondering why the tortillas were brown but more on that later. The cilantro rice was hard and lacking cilantro. They were out of cheese. The adobo chicken I got was hard and obviously had been sitting out too long. My wife's steak was also hard and bland. My daughter couldn't even eat her nachos. We got an extra bag of chips with the meal and when we tried to eat them were greeted with a glorious pallet watering mix of stale chips, soggy chips and some way over salted chips. Know we know why she couldn't eat her nachos. The service: The staff was all quite rude. They gave the impression that they were done with their shift and were mad they had to work. I'm assuming the manager wasn't on duty because it did look like there were 3 servers and a cook so I'm guessing they were understaffed. When we got to the register, I asked if the chips were warm and was given an attitude. When we asked why the tortillas were brown he said that they were wheat and they were out of flour ones. Something the first server neglected to tell us. The atmosphere: The walkway to the counter was clear but it was quite apparent they had not cleaned their work area at all. We were there well after the dinner rush and it was clear the person responsible for cleaning up the place was not schedule to work that night. There was food caked to the counter by the register. Finally, the garbage can was well beyond full. I didn't look at the other cans but a picture says a thousand words. Judge for yourself. Conclusion: We have been patrons of this qudoba for as long as they have been open in this shopping center. I have never been so disgusted as I was tonight with this establishment. When you buy food for the whole family and the bill come out to almost 50 bucks you expect better than this. Thankfully they opened another Qdoba on the west side of ann arbor. We will NEVER be back to this location again. I suggest that the company does a surprise inspection to see what kinda of image this store is portraying before the health department does. This store would get closed down immediately. I recommend that if you are in the mood for Qdoba to skip this place entirely and head over to zeeb road in front of Meijer. The extra time and gas spent to get there are a small price to pay to avoid this food poisoning establishment.

Worse than Chipotle. Maybe it was because I came later in the evening, but the experience and pricing was terrible: stale and rancid chips at Taco Bell’s lowest tier, ingredients that didn’t taste fresh, small portion sizes, and staff who were less than welcoming. I was handed a bag to pack my own order, wasn’t offered a receipt, and was scolded for not announcing in advance that I wanted to use the rewards app. Salad bowl + chips/dip = $17.70 😬I’ll be avoiding this location going forward...

I ordered a taco salad from grubhub 2 times. The first time it was amazing. The second time, about a month later, I ordered the exact same thing and they FORGOT the salad lettuce. Tried contacting them with no answer, went through Grubhub chat who got someone at the restaurant to answer and they apologized to the Grubhub rep but still insisted they made the order right and that I was wrong. Grubhub comped my account 10 dollars but the restaurant should have acknowledged their screw up.

Hands down this has got to be to worst experience I have ever seen with a restaurant. Things were fine until I got to the counter to place my our order.

The food:

First off, we were wondering why the tortillas were brown but more on that later. The cilantro rice was hard and lacking cilantro. They were out of cheese. The adobo chicken I got was hard and obviously had been sitting out too long. My wife's steak was also hard and bland. My daughter couldn't even eat her nachos. Ordered 3 nachos and a burrito today. After arriving back home, discovered that the chips were stale (which is very common at this location). I called to ask for the tip to be refunded due to the stale chips. The person who answered the phone had to inform me that she could not refund the tip because she didn't know how as the NEW GM. When I told her that wasn't acceptable answer, she became extremely rude and kept using the excuse how she is new and doesn't know who to do it. She never asked me for my phone number or a resolution, i.e., refund the nachos due to chips be stale or calling me back after her untrained self looked into what the options are. No, instead....... she treated her unqualified and untrained self as being a reason to serve bad food and me paying $50.31 for it. When I told her it wasn't acceptable, she hung up the phone on me on purpose.

I called the location on Washtenaw. In the approximately 20 years we have been going to Qdoba in Ann Arbor, this location has ALWAYS provided great service and food. The person who answered the phone listened to me, then understood the issue, confirmed that my complaint was valid and how it was handled was not professional, and then offered to call his regional manager (Matt) to contact me. The Washtenaw manager then called me back and let me know his manager would be calling me back, as he promised he would follow-up with me. Clearly two different...

Hands down the worst place to work/eat at. The place is NEVER clean, it is extremely ghetto and unprofessional. The inside of the walk-in, refrigerator, and fryer for the chips are ALWAYS dirty. The catering closet is full of dirty mildew rags and bugs flying around, the bathroom is ALWAYS out of service, food that is ALWAYS moldy. The GM have a horrible attitude, she do not know how to communicate with her workers, she ALWAYS mess up on inventory the staff never have everything that they need, she take more breaks outside smoking cigarettes than actually making sure her store is being ran properly. It’s more food being giving for free at this place than a homeless shelter. The store always open up late, the inside of the sweet/unsweetened tea have mold in it. If you’re looking for a job this is not the place at the moment, it will be a very uncomfortable, irritable (hour less) job. Corporate really need to investigate this store. Glad I am not an employee at this place any more I am honestly surprised that no customer’s had...
