I walked in at 0600 on a Sunday to find an empty lobby with no staff around. After about 4-5 minutes of waiting, someone finally walked out from the back. Her hands were in her pockets and her demeanor was more of annoyance than customer service. She slowly walked to the counter and asked for my order. I ordered a regular coffee and noticed 2 pots on top of the warming plates. I asked if the coffee was fresh and was told "that is all we have". I asked again how fresh the coffee was and was met with another rude comment. After my coffee was poured and I left the store, my first sip left a burnt taste in my mouth. I am a paramedic working on an ambulance which does not allow for return trips. I called to inform the staff about their burnt coffee and was again met with an attitude. The person on the phone was the same sound lady who took my order. I let her know that the coffee that I questioned it's freshness was indeed not fresh. She said that I could return and I can get a new cup, which again my job does not allow. I informed the worker that I could not return and she took down my name for a free coffee. This attempt at customer satisfaction was, in my opinion, unacceptable. I should not have to take more time out of my day to return to a place where I asked if the coffee was fresh in the first place. I guess customer satisfaction is not a priority...
Read moreIt took 5 minutes to even have someone say hi to us, another two minutes until they actually offered to help (after finishing an oh-so-important text) then ten minutes to get two coffees! Nothing complicated two creams 5 splendas in an XL and 3 Splenda in a small. It took so long because she stood around instead of grabbing items for the drive thru order for a few minutes on her phone, then she sat around for another few minutes on her phone. Granted one of the products for drive thru needed an ingredient replaced and her coworker was working on it, but just pour the two coffees that are actually ready! THEN she started a new pot of coffee when ONE of our cups was almost full. Over 15 minutes for two coffees.
No smiles, no thank yous, she sneered at me multiple times, heck the whole time, but she got extra about how much I was aggravating her when I asked if there was a dairy free creamer option, and when I handed her a 20 instead of a 5 because I needed change.
This is a Canadian company, maybe import some Canadian hospitality, or at least some time management skills...
Read moreI typically really like Tim Hortons for a quick breakfast when on the run. The staff was very friendly here, but there was definitely something off with the food from this location. There was at least a very slight chemical aftertaste in everything. It was especially bad in the custard donuts to the point of being overpowering. I couldn't take more than one bite of them. I also couldn't finish the coffee. This location is attached to a gas station and the flavor was akin to how gasoline smells. It seems crazy to me that any manner of cross contamination could happen, but that's how it tasted. I ate the food well away from this location, so my sense of taste couldn't have been being thrown off due to smelling gas fumes, etc. I won't be going back to this location, regardless of how good the customer...
