Looking for a late-night bite, a spot to catch the game, or a flavorful feast with a K-pop twist? This Korean fusion joint brings bold flavors, a festive bar scene, and a creative spin on traditional Korean dishes that keeps people coming back. It’s equal parts comfort food, club energy, and culinary adventure—and honestly, that’s the magic of it.
Food That Brings the Heat (and the Cheese) The menu is a mashup of Korean classics and modern twists, giving you everything from crispy wings to cheesy ribs to the comforting kick of rose ddukbokki. The portions are generous, perfect for sharing with a group or stocking your fridge with leftovers.
Here’s what you shouldn’t miss: Soy Garlic & Sweet & Spicy Wings – Fried to perfection and dripping with flavor, these wings are a crowd favorite. Juicy, crispy, and never soggy. Red Snapper – Lightly fried with a tangy sauce that hits the right balance of crispy and fresh. Yaki Udon with Crab – Savory noodles with crab and ground pork. Perfect chew, rich flavor—it's a sleeper hit. Rose Ddukbokki – Cheesy, spicy, and addicting. Even if you’re not a rice cake fan, this will win you over. Corn Cheese – That stretchy, sweet-salty cheese pull is unforgettable. Pairs perfectly with wings or soju. Bossam (Boiled Pork Belly) – Melt-in-your-mouth tender with bold flavor. They also serve Korean Army Stew, Takoyaki, LA Galbi, and a whole lineup of bar bites and fusion tacos that feel right at home in a lively, K-pop-filled setting.
The Scene: Chill Meet-Up or Late Night Party? Yes. The vibe here shifts with the clock—come early for a laid-back meal with family or friends, and stay late for a bar-lit hangout with DJs, TVs everywhere, and plenty of drink options. Whether you're posted up for happy hour or sliding in after 11PM, it’s a spot that knows how to serve both moods. The interior’s casual but cool, with a big open space, great lighting, and K-pop videos playing across the walls. If you're into music, energy, and solid eats, it's an easy win. A few heads-ups: The music can get loud, especially during peak hours or weekends. Ask about ingredients if you’ve got preferences (some dishes come with unexpected cilantro or watercress). They don’t have hot tea—but the drink menu makes up for it with cocktails like Hennything is Possible and Falcon Punch.
Why You’ll Come Back Because it’s fun, flavorful, and full of energy. It’s the kind of place where you can share plates, sip something strong, and still be talking about the wings and corn cheese days later. Pair your visit with a stop at PullUpDC for that perfect post-meal unwind. The bold flavors, the music, the vibe—it all just hits better with the right strain in your stash. So whether it’s a family dinner, a K-pop night out, or a chill catch-up with friends, this Korean fusion spot knows how to bring the party...
Read moreI decided to try this place out with some friends due to its high reviews…but I should’ve looked more closely at the reviews. There were only 20 reviews and they were all 5 stars but the reviewers seem to be friends of the place or staff based on their profiles.
Anyways, my review of the place. I think the atmosphere is really nice and they did a great job renovating this place compared to what it used to look like. It’s in a sketchy area with very little parking. Also, it’s a suite in a building with the other suites that are rundown and out of business so it definitely seems out of place. We thought we were at the wrong location when we walked inside the building. Atmosphere - 3/5
The food looks good. We tried a variety of their appetizers and main dishes. All came out looking aesthetically pleasing and most tasted pretty good, but thats about the only thing nice thing I can say about the food. We all ended up getting food poisoning and it was AWFUL. Again, the place looks nice and aesthetic but I think they put all their attention on the looks rather than quality. Some other friends gave it a try a week later and they also ended up getting sick from the food. Food - 1/5
In terms of service, staff is nice but inexperienced. The place was at 60-70% capacity with a lot of servers working but they took a while to get some stuff out and they ended up forgetting to bring us water and drinks when we requested it. It was hard to enjoy while being concerned about getting the waiter’s attention so we could remind him about our orders. Service 3/5
Overall, I would NOT recommend this place. It is nice for aesthetics but not a good place to hangout with friends and enjoy food and drinks. It’s probably a good place for a crowd of 21-23 year olds due to the music and vibe...
Read moreAs a regular at the nearby ramen shop, I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered JMT right next to it in the same building. I decided to give it a try and was by no means disappointed.
The mozzarella balls they served (as seen in the picture) were delectable, and in spite of my level of hunger being low before finding the restaurant, only really interested in perhaps a light snack, I can't help but want to order another dish. Not only was the atmosphere quite enjoyable for a restaurant/bar, but the food was better than I could have ever hoped for, and when I gave my compliments to the chef, he said that they had only soft opened the business on Tuesday the 19th of March, a mere three days before writing this review. The chef also said that they would be having their grand opening on Friday the 27th.
Needless to say, if the rest of their menu is as good as this one dish (which should more than be the case from the flavors I smelt from the meals at the tables around me), I couldn't be more excited to come back and try the next great dish on their varied and appetizing menu. An appetizer and a small bottle of Soju came out to only 20 with tax, if only because there's a 30% until the grand opening. If you're interested I'm great food and a good time, head over to JMT and get your...
