Ahmed. Come on man. My friend and I could tell that you were phoning it in during our visit. After we got our food from you, my friend went over to the counter in order to obtain some ketchup, honey, butter and a knife. After standing there for like 10 seconds he could see that it was useless, so he gave up. I was more determined!
I waited for more than a minute looking for any Popeyes employee that could get me what I wanted. After you finished ringing up all the customers in line, you just stood there near the register not looking at anyone or doing anything to help your very busy fellow employees or me. So I called your name to get you to rejoin this plane of existence.
I then asked for things I wanted and you put lots of ketchup, honey and butter packets on a tray for me. I thanked you.
My friend and I ate our food and he left before me. I threw out my trash and I left my full soda cup and a small box with my leftovers on my table while I went to the restroom. Ahmed, I am not in the habit of taking my drink and leftovers into the restroom with me because I think that's pretty gross.
When I got out you were wiping down my table and you had thrown out my drink and food. I really don't like wasting food so that bummed me out, but I remained civil with you and I asked for a replacement cup so that I could get some more soda (I had a 1.5 hour drive home). I don't remember you offering me any apologetic words, but you did get me that replacement cup.
Ahmed, I worked at McDonald's when I was in college and let me tell you, I brought my A game to every single shift. I was proactive, smiling and doing my best to serve our customers and to support my fellow employees. I was really bummed out when I came back from winter break to find out that our location was closing because I loved working there.
I think my point is, that no matter what your job is, you only get out of it what you put into it. Strive for greatness and try to brighten or improve the lives of...
Read moreI love Popeyes, but I WILL never go back to this one. I always visit via drive thru. There is usually an older Asian gentlemen that's takes your money and literally throws your bag through your car window. They always forget sauce, a straw, napkins, your biscuit something. I usually just check and wait for them to come back to the window.
However last night, the manager Suzy was beyond rude and unprofessional. She quickly gave me my order and closed the drive-thru window before I could even get out the type of sauce I needed. I proceeded to check my order as I always do and sure enough my order was missing a piece of chicken and a fork. When she came back I explained what I was missing and she told me with an attitude that I ordered the special. I then asked her if that was the case why did I have two sides? She said I owed them a dollar and slammed the window. I tried to give her a dollar, she refused it, rolled her eyes and said sorry and closed the window.
So I sat in my car as she tried to ignore me, because I still needed the sauces I originally asked for and a fork. She opened the window up and told me she did not have time and she had a line. I told her she didn't give me the sauces I requested. Mid sentence she closed the window again. At that point I was annoyed, I snapped back and questioned her position. I told her I didn't have a fork and she raised her voice and told me that it's in the bag. I flipped the bag over to prove to her I didn't have a fork. I asked for her GMs name and number and she wouldn't give it to me. She told me to call the number on the receipt. I left angry and after all of that I took a bite outta my chicken and it was cold.
FAST but WRONG and FORGETFUL. Lost a customer, and Suzy has no customer service skills. Very...
Read moreCame to this Popeyes to grab a quick bite and left frustrated and confused. My husband and I ordered in the drive thru. I specifically asked for fresh, hot chicken which is not an out of the norm request. I was informed the chicken was hot and fresh. When we received our ordered, I checked it and discovered our chicken was barely warm. I told the person at the window that the chicken was barely warm and he said it just came of out of the fryer. If that was the case, my chicken should have been steaming. I told him he was mistaken and asked him how long would it take for fresh chicken. He said 40 MINUTES and was very rude it it. There is not a person on this planet who cooks chicken for 40 minutes especially not a fast food chain. I immediately requested to speak with a manager. The manager reluctantly came to the window and I asked them for fresh chicken. They told me the chicken my husband and I received was fresh and hot. I told them that was not possible as the Cajun fries in the box were warmer than the chicken. At this point, I became extremely confused as to why they lied about the chicken I received and also why it became a big deal I request fresh, hot chicken. I told the manager I feel like I’m being lied to and asked once again how long it would take to receive fresh chicken and they finally response with 20 MINUTES.
Why lie and why the attitude about fulfilling a customer very reasonable request especially if they are willing to wait for it. They gave me that response to hurry us along. That entire situation was asinine. I’m never coming to this...
