Worst Taco Bell ever...
This review is not going to repeat what others have said which is that the wait times are horrific or that the staff is just unfriendly...
The store is just always under-prepared for anything that is going on. 2 months after the store opened, a breakfast mailer was circulated to the city. On this mailer was a "buy one breakfast sandwich get one free." When I rolled up to the order screen, I was told that they have never had this item. Yet, on the mailer, it specifically said "ask for it at West Street location."
The 12-taco box is no box at this store. They will cram every single taco into a brown paper bag so that they get soggy by the time you arrive at your destination. This leads to the bottom of the tacos breaking and the filling falling apart.
Now the latest, the triple double crunchwrap supreme. When I went to order, I was told that they were out of this product, yet still advertising it on their ordering menu (poor choice 1). I asked if they had regular crunchwraps and was told "no" (which I later found out to be a lie). According to Sydney, the supervisor on duty, this promotion ends on Wednesday (it's Sunday). The warehouse has run out of the special tostada needed for this crunchwrap. I can understand this. When I asked when they would be getting the regular crunchwrap back, I was told that they were not out of the regular crunchwrap. When I told her I was told otherwise and left, she said that the other girl was just "new."
This store is full of excuses and lack of preparation for being in business. The staff is unfriendly and rude. I will continue to drive down to Edgewater for my Arbys restaurant who treats me like they want me...
Read moreOn Thursday, June 27th, at 11:30 pm, I experienced unprofessional behavior from the staff member taking order (the lady with the tiny back bun). She was very hostile. I requested a Baja Freeze, but when I arrived at the window, I was given a soda instead. When I mentioned it was suppose to be a freeze, she responded, "I didn’t say freeze," closed the window, and proceeded to complain about me to her colleagues. One staff member remarked on the need to start charging correct prices when mistakes occur. When the window was reopened, I was informed that the Baja Freeze was unavailable. I expressed that I was willing to pay the full price, as that was my expectation. Rather than apologizing and explaining that a refund and re-ring were necessary, she displayed a lack of customer service skills. She proceed to ask another team member was that her nose ring at the counter Indicating Someone is picking their nose while serving food. Lastly, she passed me the wrong bag and stopped me to return it to give me my correct bag. My advice is to treat customers with respect, kindness and understanding, as you never know what they may be going through, instead of confronting and trying to gang up on them when an error is made. It was me & one other car in line her behavior was not warranted. Don’t be mad at me when you decided to disrespect me, an apology is owed. I acted with calmness the entire time she went off. Taco Bell is losing profit at this location not because of the food but because the staff is an...
Read moreProbably the worst taco bell. Just overwhelmingly poor customer service. I have never been inside this location. I have been through the drive thru a handful of times. I don't understand how this location picks their drive thru employees. I have never ever had a friendly employee. I don't ask for anything extra. I order things as they come. Never had a weird order for extra stuff. Just a normal " can I have a number 3 ". Generally someone nicely says beef, steak or chicken" instead someone yells " what kind we have 3 types I need to know what kind" then " you get a drink, what is the drink". It is in a very rude attitude as if you have committed a crime. You get to the window and they don't say hi they just roughly hand you a bag and a drink. If you ask for a straw, napkins or a sauce, you have insulted the employee. Rolls eyes. leaves window. comes back holds out requested item and shuts window. It's just a very weird and unfriendly process. I feel like they don't want to be there and don't want to work. I feel sorry for even being a customer. It is so outlandish, I feel bad, for ordering food, at a business that sales food. That's how the employees...
