I am giving this particular Burger King a low rating because of the attitude of the managers. It is of modern design. The burger and fries were okay, but the chocolate chip cookies were hard and stale. I suggest if you get a craving for Burger King, take the short scenic drive down Solomon's Island Rd. to the Burger King on the left in Edgewood. (It is older, but the food is definitely better.) When I ordered my "lunch box" the cute girl at the register gave me various options but it was hard to hear her because of all the noise. Then when I explained to her why I will be taking a few photos she gave me a song and dance about their security cameras and my signing a "waiver" for Burger King. I said, "Sure, I'll sign it" and then I proceeded to do an actual dance, tipping my hat for the camera. (I'm usually wearing my 7th Cavalry slouch hat.) After which, rather than just saying "okay" with a smile, she told me I needed to talk to the manager about taking any pictures. A short, fat woman came out of a side office door, and I explained I am a Level 7 Local Guide for Google Maps, explained what Google Maps is, and further explained how it will help increase business. Then a taller, less fat woman came out of the same door. Apparently I had been explaining it to a minion or the shift/assistant manager. So I had to explain it all to the taller woman yet a third time. The shorter woman then said, "You can't take any pictures in here." "Okay. Thank you." I responded politely. Of course any time someone tells me I can't do something I am going to do it. So I sat down at a table along a wall in the empty dining area. The shorter woman emerged from a door just next to my table. She was obviously sneaking around and started calling someone on her pink cell phone. Between not knowing if she was calling the police on me for making a couple of exposures of the empty dining room and getting a very negative "vibe" from the place, I packed up my unfinished food and quickly left. I have never in my life had such a negative gut feeling about being in a restaurant! Clarissa, a friend and manager of a different franchise in a nearby state, pointed out, "If you see a food safety violation and post it online they suffer a huge publicity disaster and loss of sales and a blemish on their brand image." Then she added, "They've already had a few (look it up) so they have company wide policies to...
Read moreVisited the drive thru there yesterday. When I got to the window, the female associate took my Visa Debit Card and processed my order but did not ask me if I wanted my receipt. I waited at least 5 to 7 minutes for my food to be handed to me. I then asked her for a receipt. She was very rude, rolled her eyes at me and said there's one of the bag. I told her that's not adequate because it's only a bagging receipt not a purchase receipt and it's so darn faded out I can't even read it. She then kept acting like she didn't understand what I was asking (which is very strange since she had absolutely no issue when i was spealing my order at the order board) so I had to repeatedly plead with her for my receipt. After I had asked her at least 10 times and then had to pull a receipt out of my wallet from a different business I recently made a purchase from as an example to her of what I was asking for, only then did she finally comply with my request! This was extremely frustrating to me and completely unprofessional and not necessary whatsoever! Not to mention, her not doing her job correctly was holding up the entire line of cars behind me! FASTFOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE 101 FOR THOSE WHO LACK COMMON SENSE AND ARE ALSO IGNORING THE TRAINING THEY RECEIVED UPON GETTING HIRED THERE: ALWAYS ASK THE CUSTOMER IF THEY WANT THEIR RECEIPT!! NOT TOO HARD TO DO, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE GETTING PAID A 15 DOLLAR...
Read moreI went there today on my lunch break. Like most people who work for a living I had 30 minutes to get back to the job site. I pulled up to the speaker at 12:12 p.m. I sat there saying hello hello hello and is anyone there until I got quite loud at 12:19 I exited still not having been waited on and went to KFC and grabed some food there. When I drove past Burger King on my way to return to the job site the same exact car that was sitting in the entrance way will still sitting in the entrance way unable to enter the parking area or even clear the highway. As I drove past the window and I was leaving I could see that no one was standing in the Drive-Thru window service area. A terrible way to run a business at the lunch rush hour. Or any other time for that matter. 12 plus minutes addressing a speaker that no one else was on the other end of is not a pleasant way to waste your time that you don't have. I would not have had an issue if there was something wrong with the communication equipment but given the fact that it was 12 minutes total someone could have walked outside to let the customers know that the speaker was not working. There is no...
