El Burro Veloz — Restaurant in Antioch

This place has good food , but they aren't ready for prime time. We I call the number from Google a recording began in Spanish only. When I tried to order on line, you had to make choices that were only in Spanish. When I brought this to the attention of the woman working at the register, she replied that this is a Mexican restaurant, I then said that it is located in California and should include English in addition to Spanish. If I go to a Chinese restaurant any reasonable person would expect to find English & Chinese. Doesn't seem to be a big ask or suggestion, she was very dismissive. I did not say anything about the Chinese restaurant, I just replied the restaurant is located in California . Customer service is poor, attitude was dismissive & rude. Anyone that knows me, knows that I am patience and kind to everyone even when things aren't moving smoothly. So her attitude unwarranted, & is what has motivated me to leave this review. Hopefully the management reads this & sees a opportunity for training & the addition of English when making...

I got a supreme burrito with asada, the cucumber lime agua fresca with chia seeds, and the flan. I'm very glad I got the supreme, I couldn't eat more than half of it but the sour cream and avocado were very worth the upgrade from the regular burrito. I loved the rice, beans, and pico in it as well. The meat was very well seasoned, and tasted delicious. A bit salty for my taste but the burrito was still mouthwateringly delicious. The agua fresca was VERY sweet in my opinion, but very tasty as well. I enjoyed it a lot as well. Now, the flan was kinda questionable. It was my first time having flan, but I asked about it and the employee suggested they may have added too many eggs while making it. It wasn't as enjoyable as the rest of my meal but hey I wouldn't know if this is just a different style of flan. Will be getting flan at another place but I would definitely come back here for the drinks...

I never knew this place was in the location it's at haha, one night I was looking for a burrito and found that they were open, I went here pretty close to closing. They had music playing, the guy at the register was nice and efficient with order taking. Unfortunately for this review I accidentally deleted the food pictures, but I purchased a agua Fresca and it was good. The carne asada burrito wasn't that great to me, it could have been because I was there close to closing but it lacked flavor and that was disappointing. I'm willing to try them again but as of now a 3 star is what I'm rating...
