Went around 12 noon, never was greeted even though several employees made eye contact with me. Looked over menu and waited at the front counter for over 15 minutes. It was a little annoying. I noticed someone had already ordered there food and wanted extra sauce and was stuck waiting behind me forever in the middle of eating his food. As i waited i noticed people in the kitchen cooking with no gloves who made eye contact with me several times but never said anything. I also noticed a very dirty man come in from out back who immediately started fixing food without washing his hands. There was a sink full of greens soaking wich was a little disturbing to see at a restaurant. I started feeling grossed out and decided to leave. I will not be returning, rather just drive to Oakland to Everett's & Jones. Wish my experience wasn't so bad since I live very close and really wanted to try...
Read moreI love this family owned BBQ restaurant! Nothing fancy, here. Just great home-cooked BBQ and sides. Don't be scared off, by the full parking lot. Freddy B's gets your food ready, pretty quick. On this visit, I stopped by, on a super busy day, July 4th. In spite of lots of people, in line, tons of call-in orders, to pick up, and full parking lot, I had my food, in about 15 minutes. Their BBQ Tri-tip is the best. It is always tender and juicy. At Freddy B's, the tri-tip is cubed, into small pieces, and covered in BBQ sauce. Their home-made BBQ sauce, is very tasty, and is available as hot, mild, or mixed. They don't drown their meats, in the sauce, so, If you like a lot of sauce, tell them. I highly recommend Freddy B's BBQ. You won't find better BBQ, in the Antioch, Pittsburgh,...
Read moreI ordered the family package which was a slab of ribs and 2 large sides for $50. The slab was more like half a slab, consisting of 10 bones and four to six little chunks from the tips. Very disappointing. The meat was a little chewy. My husband asked me to call to report the shortage but I felt they wouldn't know anything about it as they didn't take my name when I ordered. For a total of $71 (I also ordered a 2 way combo) I feel I should have had more to show for my outlay. It tasted just alright. The combo dinner of tri tip and links was small and all of the meat was light on sauce. The only thing we received an abundance of was potato salad. Save yourself. Drive to Oakland and go to Everett and Jones. You'll get ample servings of good food and you won't feel...
