I normally don't give a review, but I just gotta give one for this. I love sushi & ramen. Lately, I've been buying Japanese food from SF (Japantown) & one in Pittsburg (Ramen 101). I bought one here cuz I want to try new places. I came in around 7:30 pm 05/12/22. Place: Looks nice although the shop is covered w/ bamboo. Lady in front: She's fine. Nicer than the front staff at Lone Tree Buffet. Cost: $40+ for all of them. Waiting Time: Almost 30 mins. There was 3 customers who picked up their orders before me & only one family was eating when I got there. Food: Unfortunately, this is just terrible. Teriyaki beef is very difficult to chew. I forced myself to finish it cuz I don't want to waste money. The veggies & sushi that comes along w/ teriyaki beef taste good btw. I was excited to try the other two sushi. When I tried the two sushi, it wasn't fresh & felt like chewing a bubble gum. I ate sushi plenty of time at Sacramento (Sushi Hook) & SF. They are so good. But this? It makes me sad that I wasted my money. As for the coconut shrimp, maybe it's just me. I gave it a try & didn't like it. It's fine compared to the others thou. I probably dislike the coconut. Overall, I hope my experience doesn't discourage others. Give this a try if you want. As for me, I'm not giving it a try anymore. I can only afford giving $4 tip so I had them for take out.

Went to Kabuki Sushi for the first time which is surprising since I've lived down the street for nearly a decade. We ordered gyoza, tempura mix appetizer, a katsudon for me, beef udon for The Small, and a bento box (not pictured) for The Tall. The appetizers came in the cutest boat serving dishes. My dish also came with a miso soup which arrived before the appetizers so I went back and forth between them. A little sad the tempura only had one of each vegetable but the batter was perfect so the food was delicious. The gyoza was also perfectly crispy on the outside and delicious on the inside. My katsudon seemed at first to be lacking enough katsu but after eating a bit, it definitely was super filling. I wasn't able to finish all the rice and half a katsu strip. The sauce on it was good and they included and extra sauce dish to be able to dip my katsu in. The katsu was yummy, nice and crunchy. The vegetables were a delicious addition to the dish. Overall, the prices weren't bad and was pretty affordable for Japanese food. I'd definitely make this a regular spot for our Japanese fix. If you're in the area, make sure to give this business some love.

Nice ambiance, clean environment, decent food, overall a nice place! I went against the grain when coming here for lunch and ordered the Spicy Pork instead of sushi (Everyone thought I was weird). I'm glad I did though as I was craving some comfort food (rice, meat, veggies and a little heat!). Well this place delivered what I was looking for. The veggies were al dente which was a nice touch and the jalapeno's delivered the kick I was looking for! I don't typically venture out into the Antioch area but if I'm ever in that neck of the woods again I'll definitely come back. If you're reading this and your in the area, I you stop by too!

I've been to Kabuki Sushi numerous times and each time they did not disappoint. In terms of parking it shares the lot with the other businesses nearby, but there is normally a good amount of available parking spots outside. They sign for the all you can eat special hanging above doesn't have the prices on it, but you can ask and it is on the sheet once you get inside.

The interior of Kabuki Sushi is pretty nice. It has sort of dim lighting, but nothing distracting and the decor is nice but not over the top or obnoxious. They have a television and some music playing as well. Also the place is pretty clean and they have a bathroom in the back.

The service is nice, but they normally have one, or not many people waiting on you but they are always polite. Sometimes it takes a while, but the service is fairly good and they will check and refill water or clear plates without you having to ask.

For the food, they have a huge selection of Sushi and other items such as appetizers that are reasonably priced. They have the normal menu and the all you can eat menu as well. In terms of the serving size, it is very reasonable considering the price and the food is normally very delicious, especially the sushi however there are some items that I didn't like as much. It is really just a matter of preference and at the cost, you can always come again and try a different dish because they have such a variety. Also as a plus when you order some sushi you normally get a little bowl of soup after you order and before your food it is fairly delicious.

The wait time for the food isn't too long like it is in other sushi places, not the fastest but not the slowest. I never feel like I've been waiting too long for the food to arrive. When the food does arrive the presentation is neat and nice and they do provide additional bowls if you are with someone else so you can share normally without...

Have always seen this place but it is in the back of a tiny strip back off the main road where a lot of businesses have come and gone so I never gave it a second look. I actually got an order from Door Dash as they were the only place open around 9:00 after I got off a long work shift. The food was good but the driver spilled the soup all over the bag and the food so I figured I'd give them another chance. Worked another late shift the other day and thought of them on my way home. Stopped in like 10 minutes before they closed for a to go order from their web ordering service. Couldn't have been nicer. Took a custom sushi order and some teriyaki and rice plates. Super hospitable even though they were closing. Answered a question I had about a custom order in the future and told me they could make whatever I needed no problem. Food was great and I've seen some places use lower quality beef and chicken to save money and it ends up like rubber. Not this place. Good quality beef and chicken and no skimping on the teriyaki either. Sushi was good and wasn't all cucumber like some places. I was really impressed and upset that I had just blown this place off before because it was tucked back out of the way. I have not experienced the slower service some others have written in the comments at all, but I'm always eating at non peak times so crowds are never an issue anywhere I go. Would and will definetly be back. Heck after typing this review I will probably go...
