Iām writing to express my disappointment with my experience during the grand opening at your new location today. I was genuinely excited to attend and support your team, but unfortunately, the visit left me feeling frustrated, embarrassed, and ultimately disheartened. At the event, there were numerous employees stationed outside, presumably to help manage the flow of drive-thru traffic. However, rather than providing direction, many appeared to be engaged in conversation with each other. This created a sense of confusion for customers like myself, especially given that there were multiple drive-thru lanes and no clear instruction about which vehicle to follow. As a result of the lack of guidance, I found myself unsure of where to go next. While I was sitting in my car trying to figure things out, another customer beside me rolled down her window and made a rude and completely unprovoked comment about my appearance ā specifically targeting the confused expression I had due to the unclear setup. This interaction was deeply upsetting and something I believe could have been easily prevented with clearer communication and staff attentiveness. What should have been a fun and exciting moment turned into one that negatively impacted my self-esteem and ruined the rest of my day. I hope that, moving forward, more care is taken to ensure all customers are treated with respect and given clear instructions, especially during high-traffic events like a grand opening. However, one of the workers sorting the line was pushy, rude, and straight up annoying. This employee appeared to be a female with darker brown or black hair, black shirt, jean shorts, converses or vans, and a septum piercing. She kept coming up to the windows of my car telling us weāre a number and to go behind another car (zipper merge i.e) like they do at chick fil a. If I didnāt move my car as close as she wanted, and it seemed like she wanted my truck on top of the car in front of me, she would annoyingly come up to my window and remind me again that I was whatever number she gave me and to move up. She was doing this to the other cars too, and I made a confused face at the driver next to me and we were both lost as to why she was doing all that.
I get that youāre working out the kinks, but seriously, do not talk to people like they canāt follow simple instructions. It is condescending and extremely disrespectful. I feel that this was an individual issue than a storewide issue because the people at the window and the individual taking my order were pleasantly quick and respectful.
I was a broista before so I know this employee behaved exactly how they trained us not to behave. Insanity. Iāll definitely swing by again because of its proximity but I probably wonāt be as gracious next time if this employee tries it...

My usual is the annihilator, however I was always under the impression that their drinks were high cal and full of sugar. However, I was surprised to find a good selection of drinks that align with my nutrition goals, such as protein or zero sugar! I was so excited to find the āAnnihilator Zero Sugar Addedā which came out to 190 cals vs 280 cals for a small.
I placed my order for a 9AM pick up, drove over, and was pleased to see the plenty of parking available along with the very small crowd. I walked up to their pick-up window and waited for a moment to finally get my orders.
The girl that gave me my order was very pleasant, and I honestly loved the little drawing on my cup.
My drink was immaculate, I honestly wouldnāt even be able to tell the difference between the sugar free version from the regular (probably because my homemade coffee is mid, lol) but my first sip was delish and I was just so stoked to have some tasty yet low cal coffee.
I plan to come back sometime to try the other zero sugar / protein drinks on their menu another time. Super excited to have a Dutch Bros closer to my area. Wishing them great success...
