Everyone knows that Ross is not top end store; you shop their for deals. But they need carts with the big poles because, as you know, we are all thieves??? But this store, brand new, opening weekend and really not as busy as you would expect and we were greated by a security guard that said for our safety and security we had to wait to enter the store. I should have left but I waited a couple minutes and he let us in. Really? That store is so unsafe that we can't enter without clearance from a security guard? All i wanted was a laundry basket and they had them jammed in so hard that it took 3 employees to pull them apart. And then at the cash registers in this supposed unsafe store, they only had 3 registers open and only 1 took cash. I guess cause it's so unsafe. And finally when leaving, we again had to get held up at a barrier to show our receipt for are one item. Don't go here. Frankly, avoid all Ross's. Why don't they just deal with the actual criminals instead of treating us all like criminals? And the fact you can't take a cart into the parking a lot does not encourage people to buy much. I won't be going back. Go to TJ Maxx or even Marshalls.

As of this posting, there are two security personnel at the front, one to let you in, and the other to check receipts when you leave. They have carts to the right after you’re let in, and the two staff present at the time were friendly and polite. I didn’t get a ton of pictures because there were a lot of people there and I didn’t want to be weird. Well-organized and clean. Shoe area had benches, which was a nice addition. Since it’s between Safeway and the Dollar Tree, you can get your cake at Safeway, your gifts at Ross, and your party supplies at Dollar Tree, and you’re set.

I will start, By the nice experience from a new store. Fresh start for the hillcrest area. Very nice point for the security. Indoors the store, was a fresh vibe Super clean, fully stock and organized. My review wouldn’t be 4 starts because at the checkout was really tricky. Lots of sizzling and no felling for the customer. I was really excited for the new coat 🧥 but no positive energy for the customer they make me feel like ( pay and go out ) But it’s okay at the end of the day, I found what i was looking for. Thanks ✍️
