L&L Hawaiian Barbecue — Restaurant in Antioch

I dreadfully went back here today because my mom requested it for dinner. I hate coming to this place because service is awful. There are usually 1 of 3 people who work the counter. There is one guy who is pleasant but the female and the other male are so rude. Today the rude guy acted as though I was bothering him, when I was asking questions about what the food came with. The reason I was asking him those questions was because their menu display is all taped over and marked over with sharpie in lots of places. So I wanted to get it right because I was ordering for my mom, who is picky about her food. As I was ordering and asking question, the rude guy was rolling his eyes up in his head answering very grudgingly. For both items I requested that the steamed vegetables be steamed a little longer, so as not to be so crunchy. He turned his back and mumbled at me after paying. After the food was ready, he pointed at me and said, “here”. I asked if he had lemons and with attitude he said it’s in the box. When I asked for sauce he angrily sat it on the counter. I finally said before leaving, “ You know you should be a lot nicer to people who come here. It doesn’t make since being so rude to patrons.” Then to make matters worse, when we opened up the food, the vegetables were still too hard and crunchy for my mother...

The guy taking My order was rude and didn't not greet me. He looked like the owner a old Korean looking man. I asked if they had tartar sauce and he said yes but when I asked for six packages he looked angry and shook his head. I paid for my order and sat down. The place was pretty big and it was clean from the floor to the tables. A couple of families were eating inside. They had a restroom 🚻 and I went to use it and it was clean and spotless. I went sat down and then My order was ready and he didn't even Thank Me and that's why I'm never going there. I'm all about customer service and how you treat people the food could be great but your bad customer service left a BAD taste in my mouth.I noticed that the cooks were all Latino. I went home and the food was delicious and then I checked my receipt and he charged me $1.00 for the extra tartar sauce. I don't mind paying for it but he never told me it was an extra charge for it. To Me that's a shady CROOKED move and Who knows what other customers he overcharged. I won't never go here and I'll tell everyone I know not to go to ThiS L&L...

The staff/owners here are very rude. We walked in, My sister is special needs, she walked over to a table to grab her wallet out of her backpack. They stared at her the whole time as if she was a homeless person. I looked at the lady at the register and let her know she was with us because I seen them staring her down as if she was doing something wrong, even with me saying she was with us, she still continued to watch her. No reason for that! We ordered. Got our food, they have 1 dipping sauce for 3 plates of food. I walked over and asked them for 1 more sauce, they refused to give it to me and instead the guy threw a jar of BBQ sauce at me and said here use this. I wanted to dip my food in the sauce, not pour it all over my food, so my leftover would be soggy later on. The meat was burnt and barely chewable. The soy sauce was extremely salty. We spent $50+ on food here to be treated horrible and told no to a 2nd sauce container. Like that container cost them scents, and you can't give me one to dip my food in after spending $50+ on your food, come on! Think...
