I will never go back So this happened on Saturday July 13th at 2:00 pm. it is now July 28th I figured it would be better to give a little bit of time to let my anger simmer down. My father and I went there to have lunch later on my wife brought my sister to meet with us. We all have our food and my sister's combo came with a drink. She brought her own coffee from home for work. After my wife and sister ate they were getting up to leave, a homeless man had gone to the front and asked for a cup for water( mind you the weather was over 105°F ) my sister gave him her cup to get whatever he wanted. The day shift manager yelled at him telling him that he has to pay for the cup. I immediately told her that my sister gave him her clean unused cup, from her combo. She told me that you (meaning me) needs to stay out of it. And continued to yell at and berate him. I told her she was in the wrong and that since the cup was paid for there was no reason to treat him like that. I also told him to not fill the water cup with water but with ice, and use the big cup with what he wants to drink so he can refill the small one as he wishes. The whole time the "manager" was still being rude to him and now to me. Wendy's is my favorite fast food place but if I have a hankering for it I'll get it from Oakley or even Pittsburg...
Read moreHad a dine-in lunch here a few days ago, and it was pretty good. Wendy's is a slightly above-average fast-food burger joint, and the food was exactly as you expect it to be: slightly above average. My only real complaint about the food was that my burger was only warm, which is often the case at Wendy's.
I don't care for the sea salt they use on the fries as of a couple of years ago, but I can tolerate it. I think the old, slightly thicker-cut fries were better, and I prefer regular salt, but the change was a chain-wide decision that isn't the fault of the folks here. I note that they've removed the salt and pepper shakers that they've had on the tables here for decades, though they do provide (sea) salt and pepper in paper packets.
Service was good and friendly but not remarkable - no complaints.
They do have free WiFi here, though like many free WiFi locations, the Access Point is open, but you have to authenticate via a web-page with a password ("Wendys" - no quotes, no apostrophe, and first letter capitalized). For that, I'm giving them a 4th star, even though Wendy's in general is a 3-star place. Every restaurant should have free WiFi for...
Read moreI end up buying a double cheeseburger combo i say no ketchup on the burger, midway back to my work i notice it has ketchup and i throw it away as i cant stand it. I call back to let them know the next day, as working my job is more important. They then tell me to come on down and show them the receipt. I go down there and i show the receipt, the person who appears to be a manger comes down and start doing the override in the machine. She then gets the food ready in a bag and starts to hand me the bag , when i go over to grab it she then wont let go off of it and says start yelling in an angry manner towards me telling me that i should have called right away instead of the next day. I proceed to explain to her that i have my priorities such as working, she then continues to repeat herself in the same manner. I don't recommend this Wendy's to anyone as i had a terrible experience in it. I hope they take action against the manager as she doesn't appear to be doing her job right she was a short women who had an accent to her and is usually...
