Country Pride — Restaurant in Antrim Township

This is a negative 5 star review Spend 20 dollars on one meal for dried out chicken tenders and what looks like a half order of tater tots and no bread even tho that's what's advertised in the pictures displayed in the restaurant. Was told the menu has changed when I asked about it and literally told by the employee if I have a problem with it complain to a manager she don't care. Country pride has permanently lost my business. Such a shame because this use to be a good place to eat why traveling the country and wanting some down home food. Just look at the portions of food I spent my money on and look for yourself at the advertisement in the store as well with a picture of a nice plate of food with good portions and bread. False advertisement at its finest. The food was 16 but I added a tip as I always do because that's how a waitress makes a living and I tipped before even getting my food something I guess I shouldn't have done because I was not treated with respect or decency. Server Brandie did a great job. However the food was horrible. I had the chicken parmesan. The chicken was hard and slightly burnt. The spaghetti that can with it, was dried out or else not fully cooked. Sauce was like tomato paste rather than sauce very acidic. The other meal was a patty melt with soup. The broccoli and cheese soup was gross. The had it so hot the milk was curdled. Plus there was pieces of the stem that was hard and inedible. Asked for the patty melt to be medium. 1st one came out rare and had blood coming out of it. 2nd one was cooked correctly. Why hire someone to cook who can't cook. TA is shutting down all their Country Prides. Instead replacing it with fast food. It's because the CEO is only there for their paycheck and not there for the company. They could care less about any part of the TA or Petro locations. So sad cause I can remember when this location was the Buckhorn and the food was always superb. You can go to Cracker Barrel or Applebee's and eat better food...

We stopped to get something to eat on our way to our delivery in Charlottesville, VA. We waited for at least 10 minutes. Sign said seat yourself we sat in the corner. 2 booths from us a couple was just finishing and paid their bill. We got no acknowledgement from waitress. She took an order or at least talked to a gentleman directly across from us. Still no acknowledgement. Came to clean off the table where the couple just left 2 booths away from us. Still no acknowledgement. Now I have a bright blue shirt on and she never acknowledged us. After this my husband was at the end of the booth with his leg in the aisle and still no acknowledgement. Apparently we were not important enough for either of the waitresses there. They were not busy by no means maybe 4 customers at the bar and maybe 5 at tables or booths. Really hope that not all customers get treated this way. Will never stop here again. Very unprofessional. Very...
