I walked in at 6:32pm on 10/12. The only words I heard were “the toaster is off.” Since I don’t work there, I don’t entirely know what that means. No one said hello, no one called me or addressed me, just yelled. So, I stood there waiting for someone to address me. A teammate looked at me and said it again. I said- but your door is unlocked, she said yea- we turn the toaster off 30 minutes prior to closing. I thought for a moment and said, why does the door say 9pm? She said, the door says 7. (There is a paper on the door that says 9.) She didn’t offer to get me anything else, or even ask what I wanted, or really communicate in more than those short phrases. I said, “ I don’t have to have something toasted” and then she said, “ok” , but since she clearly just wanted me to leave, I did. I know we are in a terrible pandemic, I know help is hard to find. Anyway, if she had just smiled and said, I’m sorry- we have a limited menu since we are closing soon, I would have understood and been happy. Maybe I would have asked for my drink- but I didn’t feel comfortable. I just really needed a drink and maybe a cookie. No one knows what all of us are dealing with, a little better communication goes a long way, unless you just don’t care. Read moreI got an email advertising there BOGO footlong. It was only for online or app orders so I downloaded the app. Small print said had to be a participating location. I called my local Greencastle location and spoke with an associate that said "yes" they were offering the deal. I ordered 2 subs and price was normal price for 2 with no discount applied. It was supposed to apply it automatically in the cart. It didn't. I picked up subs and inquired about discount that wasn't applied. They gave me owners direct number. Called him and could barely understand him because of such a heavy accent. He said they weren't participating in special offer and that his associate made a mistake telling me otherwise. Read moreI went in on 4/22 at 430pm. I ordered 2 meatball subs.When I got home and went to eat,the meatballs were mushy and were disgusting. I called in and a manager told me to come in the next day with them and a receipt.She even said that she sees they are mushy.I went in and the manager proceeded to tell me they sold the rest and nobody complained. Then took the hoagies out and mushed them on the counter in front of other patrons saying this is how they always are.
