Don’t skip out on this hidden gem 👀 Paladino’s is tucked away in the heart of Apache Junction serving up some amazing Chicago style Italian eats. From pasta to pizza, subs, salads and more. The dishes are family style and definitely shareable. Excellent customer service and a great casual vibe. I love the thin style pizza with a crunchy crust and generous toppings and sauce just right. The Caprese pizza was a hit. I loved the salad! It’s giving Olive Garden vibes but way better quality and freshness. On to the pasta dishes I was so caught up in the fettuccine and Oh My goodness that vodka pasta dishes was 👌🏽 But then I spotted the star of the show, Chicken Marsala. That’s one of my all time favorites. If it’s made right. And this, this was incredible. 🤌🏽 The perfect pasta texture, sauce was perfect in flavor and coated the pasta well. I love the generous portobello mushrooms with pieces of white meat chicken breast. This is one hearty, comfort dish I can’t wait to come back for.

The pizza and ravioli were excellent. But a few things about our visit marred our experience. Unfortunately, someone was smoking near the entrance and we had to walk through that cigarette smoke to get into the restaurant. Our party of three ordered water to drink. The waitress set the drinks down and said we were welcome to refill them ourselves as she pointed to the soda machine. In general the service was friendly but I was baffled about being told to refill our own drinks. Two of us ordered pizza and one of us ordered the ravioli dinner. The two pizzas were served at the same time but one of the pizzas had to be taken back as it was not what was ordered. The ravioli arrived about 10 minutes later. About 15 minutes after that the replacement pizza arrived. Although we had originally planned on ordering desert we decided to forego it. For the pizza mix-up the server discounted our ticket by 10% which was a decent gesture. But, I doubt I would eat there again.

Ordered the fettuccine alfredo with garlic bread (it comes with a salad but I decided to substitute it for more garlic bread). It was around $21 with an 18% tip (no drink, just water). It was smaller than I expected in the seating area, there are booths, tables, at least one single half booth/half table, and a bar seating area. They had a giant TV with 4 different games going on, each one in their own corner of the TV. The food was better than expected, it wasn't just some carelessly thrown together pasta, it appeared there was effort put into it. Tasted great. The bathroom was clean as well which is nice. Lots of parking, there is a small outdoor seating area as well. I would imagine it gets very busy here on the weekends and that there will probably be a wait associated with that. If I had to guess. I'd come back.

I love it now it's the third time they have changed their response. First response was an irate owner losing his mind in the reply and then tells me never to come back LOL I responded to his reply on here and then all the sudden someone with some sense of mind responds with a cordial reply saying they will take my criticisms to Heart.

Now a third response just simply stating that I'm correct about the food truck in the parking lot being better food LOLThese people don't know how to keep their mouth shut. Sometimes it's better to keep your mouth shut and be thougt as fools than to open it and remove all doubt you guys truly are a classy joint LOL

You Paladino's have removed all doubt

funny that they revised their response to me where the original owner said we hope you don't come back and berated me throughout their entire response. This is a dishonest business I highly suggest any other Italian Eatery in the valley other than them. Hell you would get more honest people at Olive Garden and probably better service as well

Maybe you should keep the keyboard Warrior owner away from the reviews before he runs his mouth and makes you all look like fools again

As you can see by the garbage response posted by the supposed owner this is not a place to spend your money at. There was literally one person serving the entire dining room regardless of what he says. There were more people in and out of that kitchen and then they're honestly should have been noticed he doesn't mention anything about me saying his employees were smoking outside the door which is actually against the city code I do not suggest you spend your money at this restaurant there are many better places in Apache Junction to do so and the surrounding areas that have Far superior food to this place and better attitudes as well. It's a shame the owner doesn't care to hear any criticism about someone's visit and gets all buttsore about honesty sorry you had such a rough night sweetheart

Maybe I should just charge back instead of revising my 3 star review to a 1 star based on the response

Wasn't that busy when we came but the only had one lady running the show she was the bartender the receptionist the host the cashier and the waitress for the entire restaurant however there seem to be about 10 people in the back inside the kitchen.

We ordered an appetizer real quick and drinks while we could get her attention but then it took her about 15 to 20 minutes to come back to us to even order our food.

We ordered meatballs the fried calamari and the breaded steak sandwich the sandwich was actually very very good but the meatballs were dry and flavorless and would have almost been inedible if it weren't for the sauce and me stealing the hot peppers and sweet peppers from the steak sandwich the person next to me ordered. The calamari was okay but it was just okay at best nothing special not much flavor but they were crispy and once again the sauce made it okay.

I received our entrees we had no utensils or napkins. Which happens but it was just another attention to detail that was overlooked. They were definitely not overworked but they sure were acting like it. I will say that the one lady running the show inside the restaurant was busy but there were other people who could have come out and helped her without a doubt all of them would walk in and out as quickly as they could ignoring everybody. A couple of the employees were even just outside the front door smoking cigarettes which is always a pleasant smell when you come out from finishing your meal. I like this place better when it was just Dino's.

I had eaten here about 10 times when they reopened and it was just Dino's at that point I would have given this five stars every time. Definitely left a little unsatisfied and disappointed this time what a shame when the food truck serving burritos outside seems like it would have been a better idea which by the way the Mad Taco food truck in the courtyard is...

At their old location, we would have given them 5 stars in a heartbeat. We told our out of state family and friends about it and they could not wait to try it. We went for my birthday in January and ate in their new location. The service was horrendous. We were told upon arrival they were out of chapters salad, pickles, and eggplants.. no problem. We ordered and weren’t notified for another 20 minutes that they were out of the side salad that comes with meals. We were promised extra garlic bread which did not arrive for another 30 minutes and was burned. They did compensate with unsolicited onion rings. 10 minutes before the restaurant was set to close and over an hour since arrival we were notified that our entrees could not be completed due to no rigatoni. I would have been happy with any noodles but find it unacceptable that it took over an hour for them to start our dishes. Meanwhile, the four of us watched as tables with other servers arrived, ordered, ate, and left before we received anything. We never even got refills on our waters. Additionally, the bread salad and entree are not served in courses they all come out together which is very odd. Nothing was taken off the bill. We decided to give them another try for carry out this week. We ordered and were told it would be 50 minutes after ordering online due to attempting to call twice with no answer. I showed up 5 to 10 minutes past the promised time and had to wait an additional 15 minutes for my food to be ready. The food we received was largely inedible. The salads had been prepared, including the croutons, well in advance and the croutons were extremely soggy. My raviolis were good but my first ordered chicken Vesuvio with potatoes. She did not receive anything like that. Instead, she received a bland chicken and polenta dish with rigatoni canned peas and mushrooms. At that point we could not even notify anyone because no one answered the phones. They never should have expanded into the new location because they are losing their valued customers. I will...

Extremely rude and unprofessional. The customer service standard here is truly disgusting. I visited this establishment as a courier for DoorDash today, and when I arrived, I wasn’t greeted until I had been standing there a while. Not sure if this is a family business but it was clear that the environment was unprofessional as there was some sort of confrontation happening. One woman in particular was acting very irate, shouting with an attitude about miscellaneous things and throwing her hands up in the air. This same woman, who was visibly upset about something that had nothing to do with me or any other customer yet proceeded to take it out on me, “helped” me at the register. Not only had they not received my customer’s order because their tablet wasn’t charged— they also refused to fulfill the order when I read it to them manually because one of the items was supposedly a dinner entree which wouldn’t have been able to be made until later in the day. The woman took a very condescending tone with me when I let her know that I was simply there to pick up an order for DoorDash and had no idea as to what entrees were available or not. I ended up having to contact my customer and customer support in order to cancel the order and deal with the monetary aspects on both mine and my customer’s end. It was overall an annoying situation but it could have been a lot less frustrating had the level of professionalism and customer service at Dino’s...
