Fresh Press Burger — Restaurant in Apache Junction

Richard and I meet every Friday for a cheeseburger at different establishments. We had eaten at Fresh Press before and, most definitely, had savored our favorite burgers there. I suggested going there today and, for a change, we scrutinized the menu. They have all kinds of interesting food combinations in there! The employee behind the cash register answered our questions about the hot dogs and both of us broke the beef ritual to order a pig in a blanket. The female employee, Rosey, was pleasant and cheerful - she had such a lovely demeanor, I have to mention her in this review. I'm not blowing smoke when I say that could have been the best hot dog this old man has ever had. I'd never had a Sonoran Dog and it was delicious! Also impressive, the type of bun they use - tasty bread with a pouch in which the meat and condiments do not escape. Richard was happy with his Chicago Dog and it was a memorable lunch. I asked Rosey about the sauce on my order and mentioned I might have to write a review. She said "be sure and come back". I think next time I might order one of those French Fry Bowls with all kinds of healthy things...

Fantastic food! This place lived up to the hype. instantly getting out of the car you could smell you had arrived. The places was relatively easy to find with tons of parking, ADA parking at the door, and an inviting storefront. The interior was bright and exceptionally clean and I was invited in by an enthusiastic and welcoming staff. I inspected the simple to follow yet vast with selection menu and selected a single burger with blue cheese, parmesan aioli sauce, lettuce, tomato, pickle, bacon, and crispy onions. I was offered the option of the meal with drink and fries and I agreed. This burger was epically delicious, its been too long since I've gotten a burger this tasty, the burger was sizzling hot and fresh off the grill and juicy, the veggies were fresh and crisp, the blue cheese and bacon paired with this burger perfect, and the bun was light yet firm enough to do a decent job holding it all together. Noticed on a search for restaurants near me. Very clean space. Staff was very friendly and quickly made our order from scratch. Simple menu, choose 1, 2 or 3 patties; followed by a dozen toppings free of charge and 7 or 8 premium toppings for $1 each, choose your sauce from a dozen. Decide if you want fries (you really want their fries) or choose a bag of chips.

We walked in to order to go and had our food, cooked to order and out the door in under 15 minutes. I tried the double patty with awiss, mushrooms, jalapeños, fresh red onions, pickles and Sriracha Ketchup. My husband had a double patty with pepper jack cheese, banana peppers, caramelized onions, pickles, mushrooms and lettuce and tomato with ketchup and mustard.
