Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Apex

Visited on 11/14 and was extremely disappointed. My brother used a Deck of Deals coupon (we received for being one of the first 100 people in line) on opening day. The coupon was for a free Big Zax Snak. Upon ordering, the manager told him the coupon was just for the chicken fingers and fries, but did not include the drink. My brother told him he had used that coupon multiple times before with no issues. The manager just said the previous cashiers must have rang it up wrong. The manager refused to include the drink with the coupon. This is in direct contradiction to what is indicated on the menu board and on the Zaxbys website.

My brother was even going to buy another sandwich, but instead he just left. We have spent a bunch of money and eaten here many times since this location has opened, but my brother said he will likely not return here after being...

We waited months to try this place as the cars seem to always be wrapped around the building. If your sitting in the drive thru you are missing out! This Zaxbys is close to Apex High and the first thing I saw was a sign for a $5 lunch special for high schoolers. The dining room is airy, rustic and welcoming. They even took the time to put up flowers and holiday decorations. The service was outstanding! I tried to walk back up to the counter to get salt and pepper and the manager ran to get it himself. That's when I noticed that he was circling about willing to step into any role including cleaning tables and taking orders. Apex finally got our own Zaxby's! I've been to the drive-thru at this location several times now and I'm so glad we have this option for fast food in Apex now. The wings are very good as well as the chicken fingers, you can't go wrong with those, but what I really like are the other options that you won't find anywhere else. For example BIG fresh salads with lot's of options and dressings available, I like the "Blue Zalad" it comes with real blue cheese crumbles and you can get it with Buffalo or Blackened chicken (my personal fav) or "Garden" (meaning no meat, I assume?) Another plus is their crinkle cut fries, so good! Also, try the Onion Rings, they got it right, on those! I also like the Buffalo Dip & Tater Chips, homemade potato chips! very tasty!
