Galvan's Restaurant & Pancake House — Restaurant in Appleton

I’ve gone to Galvans 4 times now. 2/4 times they have made our order wrong. The second time we had a decent experience, but this last time was ridiculous. We went there today (Saturday) in the morning and were sat promptly. After we were sat we were greeted relatively quickly and received our drinks. After we got our drinks we sat for 20 mins without being spoke to again. We found ourselves asking who our waiter was and where they were (seeing that there were only 9 tables in the entire restaurant and over 10 staff). To find out when we finally decided to just leave that he was talking with his friend at a table nearby and didn’t “know” we were ready. Although I can understand not knowing when tables are ready, there is no excuse for 20 mins of no contact while you talk with your friends who arrived after us. To be honest I took my family for a Saturday morning breakfast. I read all the reviews stating this is the best place to go in the USA….And I was looking for a new place because we are very limited in the area. Arrived and had no wait, got to our table which had food crumbs on the seat and the table had not been washed. I ordered a coffee and asked if there was any sugar substitute beside sweet & low, the waiter never indicated if there was flavored creamer. My daughter asked for water and was served with floating something, asked for another glass of water and that came with black floating things with lip stick.

I ordered a combo #2 scrambled eggs French toast bacon and sausage and could only eat the eggs.. I was so sick all day. Ordered a side of fries for my grandson he didn’t eat them he said they tasted nasty. I told the waiter and he actually said here’s the bill so you want a to go box for the fries. Wth???

Negative five stars! RUDE, COLD, MEAN,NEVER AGAIN

we were having a father-son breakfast with my two boys all of our food came out wrong for example soggy French toast. the server I could tell he was getting mad. I can see him talking to his server buddies about my family. it took everything in my power not to get up and just leave. after dropping off the food he never came back to check if we needed anything or if the food was good or even refill my coffee. us being in that restaurant was a disturbance to his day. I understand he's not the one cooking my food but he is the face of the restaurant when he's serving at my table. eggs are easy fix it go on with your day. this is going to be the last time you're going to see our faces there are way better breakfast places in Appleton to spend my money at...
