Restaurant Review: A Sushi Experience to Remember I recently had the pleasure of dining at sushi call, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience that tantalized both my taste buds and my senses. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that perfectly set the stage for an exceptional meal. The decor is a harmonious blend of modern elegance and traditional Japanese aesthetics, with soft lighting and subtle wood accents that create a cozy yet sophisticated vibe. The ambiance is enhanced by the gentle sounds of water features and soft music, making it an ideal spot for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends. For my main course, I opted for the signature rolls, and they did not disappoint. The Ban Ban Roll was a standout, combining unique flavors and textures that danced on my tongue. The balance of ingredients was spot on, with just the right amount of spice and creaminess. It was evident that the chefs take great pride in their craft, as each dish was not only delicious but also a work of art. The service throughout the evening was impeccable. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that my dining experience was seamless. Overall, my visit to sushi call was a delightful journey through the world of sushi. With its stunning atmosphere, outstanding food, and exceptional service, I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. Whether you’re a sushi aficionado or a newcomer to Japanese cuisine, sushi call is a must-visit destination that promises to leave you craving more. I can’t wait to return for another round of their delectable offerings!

In our ~10 takeout visits it's just been meh. Tho the ramen has been excellent. Especially for lunch special discount. Look at the sad pic of the Rainbow Roll I got. And yes, it tasted sad too. The order was wrong due to a language barrier, and I got a simple veg roll instead of a hot roll that I ordered. I called and they said to come back and they'd make it for me no charge. When I got there, they wanted to charge me for it, so I walked out. Thanks for wasting the time of a frequent customer. Prior visit I had House Fried Rice (pic). Pass. The rice is (barely) fried then the meat is cooked and laid on top when you order it. They are not cooked together, the rice has no taste. Don't recommend their fried softshell crab for takeout. Gets cold so fast. Don't recommend their skewered chicken appetizer (pic), white meat chicken was dry and a bit tough. Do recommend their shumai (pic), while these were pretty small for shumai the taste and moist level was great. My vegetarian wife enjoys their veg sushi and she has them swap the seaweed wrap with pink soy paper for $1 upcharge. Shrimp tempura roll (pic) was made very fat and cut into only four pieces. Had to eat in several bites. Not very good. Drunken Noodle beef (pic) was not very good either. Definitely better from a Thai restaurant.

DO NOT GO HERE!! They are racist! Today I went to this place at 7:30pm and ate my food, I had a male waiter. Long story short my bill came up to $34.28 I gave the man a $50… he was an awesome waiter! As I was leaving I left him a tip and took the rest of my change, a waitress followed me out grabbed my arm and came to my car and was not trying to allow me in my car saying I did not PAY! I told her I paid and why would I have to explain that to her when she was not my waiter! Another lady came out and was saying I need to pay I told her NO I already paid and to get the hell out my face. Long story short my waiter came out and told them I paid and the lady I assume was the manager came and gave me a $15 coupon. This was soo embarrassing as a black woman I never been so racially profiled. Imagine sitting in there eating comfortably and they are eye balling you “stereotyping” you it’s ridiculous, I was about to call the police on them for harassing and assaulting me as I was leaving because of it was the other way around they would’ve have called on me. They gave me a $15 coupon which I will NEVER use this place needs to be closed down. I uploaded a picture of the gift certificate I was give for proof which will NEVER make up for how they treat African Americans.!!

Very disappointed. On 2/24/24, I ordered 3 orders of sushi. Two spicy salmon and one spicy yellowtail. I ate 4 pieces of sushi out of the first order of spicy salmon which tasted fine. I went to eat my first roll of spicy yellowtail and when I bit into it, I immediately gagged at the smell of the fish. It was spoiled, it had a very sour taste to it and the rotten smell of the fish hit my nose so fast as I was chewing! || immediately spit it out and I went back into the establishment to ask for a refund for the order of spicy yellowtail which was spoiled and the second full order of the spicy salmon that I didn't touch at all. I informed them that first the order of spicy salmon that I ate 4 rolls out of, I had no problem paying for. I told them I just wanted a refund for the other two orders and gave the staff and the manager my reasoning. One of the staff members and the manager initially informed me that they couldn't do a refund at all and they could only remake the food, I declined. After asking for a refund profusely, the manager told me that she will be processing the refund on her end at the store, but since it was a pickup order placed through the website "TapThru" that I would have to call them and see how long it will take them to release the back to my account. She went onto the POS system/kiosk and typed a few things in but never handed me a receipt or anything. A day later I| contacted Tapthru, they informed me that I would have to get the refund directly from the restaurant since the restaurant was paid directly for the food. I called sushi call back, spoke with the same manager from the initial incident who over talked me on the phone and insisted that she already processed the refund on her end and I would have to wait for my refund from the website Tapthru. The manager did not provide me with a receipt or any proof that she actually refunded the money on sushi calls end, and Im also not sure if the information that she gave me regarding calling TapThru is even correct. I believe they just don't want to refund my money for the simple fact that the manager and staff members were insisting on remaking the food when I said it was spoiled.

About 3 or 4 days ago, someone from the restaurant called me stating I would receive my refund very soon and still nothing. I still haven't received any refund for...

When Sushi Call first opened, I was a regular and was excited to continue dining here. The food is pretty ok for the area and the staff seemed nice enough. It wasn't very crowded at all, but I kept coming to support the business. I also spent $300 on a gift card promotion because I liked them so much. I spent maybe $20 on the card before my wallet was stolen. Sushi Call would not provide any help whatsover. They kept saying they needed to know what number the card was, but refused to simply go in the system and check individually (this would have taken minutes). I also spoke to the owner and manager who basically said nothing would be done for me. I get the feeling I was the only one to spend $300 on a single giftcard, and this is how they show me gratitude. I was so offended I basically stopped coming, and when I do show up, they ask why I haven't been around like they don't know. They are greedy and they show it. I am supposedly "VIP" because I purchased a giftcard yet they somehow "forget" the 10% discount EVERY time I am there. I've even been denied the discount because they had "forgotten" after I reminded them and didn't want to run the sale again. I've been going to Sushi Q instead. It's the same thing, except I don't feel like I'm being cheated. I didn't want to make this review, but this incident was imo so egregious I couldn't hold my tongue. It's also gone downhill a lot since opening. Sushi q is the way to...
