Venice Pizza — Restaurant in Maryland

They forgot the free pizza we were supposed to get and blamed the Slice app we ordered from, the Slice logo is printed right on their receipt so they work with them!! Ok maybe it was a simple mistake but the $30 pizza they delivered had RAW dough. Never again will we order there and i will tell everyone that lives in the area (we live less then two miles from the location) about this experience. It’s not even half way cooked.

We called to get a refund and they said they wanted the pizza back if we wouldn’t let them send us another……I’m guessing they get lots of complaints and refuse to believe their customers. Stay away.

Edit: it’s Wednesday and they still haven’t refunded my CC. They came and picked up the raw pizza, they said they had to or they wouldn’t process the refund and they still haven’t.

Avoid this place. They don’t care about the food quality and they lied to us about refunding our money. Now i have to go through my bank to get the refund. Stay away!!!

You're better off ordering from someplace else, these people don't know how to run a pizza place at all

Simple order, a weeknight. Was told delivery would arrive in 45min. An hour and 30min later, I decide to call and make sure everything is ok. They say the pizza is out for delivery but can't tell me when it left the store. Apparently they save up a few orders and send them out all at once. Wonder why no one else does that....

I get a call later and delivery guy tells me he's here. I look out my window and he is across the street waiting in his car. It takes me 5 minutes while standing outside my house on the sidewalk for him to understand that he needs to turn around and look behind him. He grabs the pizza from a passenger in his van (no carrier bag) and passes it over. Pizza is cold, bread already feeling stale. If this was a budget pizza place, I might understand this level of not caring about your customers. But considering I paid the same price as any normal chain, I expect it at least to be hot when it hits my door.

Called to let them know my pizza was late AND cold. I was told that they will take down my number and give me a whole $5 off my next order. What a joke. Keep the $5 because you're not getting another cent of...

Chicken Cheesesteak was great. Fresh roll, a little salty but hey, that's part of what makes it so great. Would be good to try with lettuce & tomato next time. There's enough salt to carry the taste thru those toppings. Vegetarian wife likes their pizzas. Pretty decent so far. I remember moving to the area in 2019 and we didn't a pizza we got, so we haven't gone back. I'm glad we opened up late 2022 to trying their stuff again. I suggest doing pickup instead of delivery to ensure freshness. Orders usually much faster too. Their half size hot subs are probably big enough to feed a man unless you're really hungry. Chicken parm was decent but didn't have a lot of flavor. I added pickles once I got home. Next time I'll ask him to put pickles in it. The Italian sausage hot sub was pretty good. Would definitely order it again, they slice the sausage before packing it into the sub roll. I might add mushrooms next time but it was pretty...
