Ordered a pizza directly on the Pizza Hut Website. The website tracking device informed me step by step that the pizza was being prepared, that it was ready and then finally that it was in route to me, giving me an estimated delivery/arrival time.
Needless to say, after waiting 2-hrs the pizza and wings never arrived. Being ill I was unable to cook for my children and this pizza was to be dinner for my two children. I told them pizza was on the way and to enjoy it as I was going to get some rest. Out of respect for my illness my children didn't wake me up and simply went without eating the entire night.
In the morning when I learned of this I was extremely upset as I made sure to watch the online app until it advised the pizza was in route.
Understanding that mistakes happen, I called the store when it opened to find out what had occurred. The Manager on Duty, whose name is JEN, frankly, may have been one of the rudest and most disrespectful people; let alone professional, that I have ever encountered. After explaining the above situation, she accepted no responsibility. Blaming Doordash (????) even though I ordered directly from the Pizza Hut website.
During the conversation she continuously over-talked me, cut me off and made excuses in a rude and disrespectful fashion - keep in mind I am a very ill person simply trying to feed their kids on a weekend night.
When I advised that we cannot have a phone conversation in this manner and proposed if she was too emotional to continue, I was happy to discuss at the location; she immediately went into "Karen Mode" advising that she has cameras and asking why I was threatening her. Once I calmed HER down; I advised I am simply looking for resolution and I would be out of her hair ~ she abruptly said I'll give you $20 off your next order.
I have lived in this area for almost 25-years and have frequented these locations regularly over the years, this Pizza Hut included. After this experience as long as JEN is employed here I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE AGAIN.
The lack of accountability, the lack of appreciation and ultimately the lack of respect and compassion is something I simply can't tolerate and it's my hope this person and location do not treat...
Read moreGave them a shot a couple weeks ago despite the negative reviews. The food itself was fine: my order was made accurately & ready at the estimated (off-peak) time, and the cost is reasonable so long as you check the specials & coupons online before ordering. But the store itself was enough to convince me to quit while ahead.
It's dungeon levels of dark inside, even during the daytime, and the other review which commented on the smell was dead on: absolutely awful. Not sure if it's moldy carpet or if something literally died in there, but it is NOT a scent you want to experience in the place that just made your dinner. I will say that the prep area behind the counter looked very clean (otherwise I would probably have just walked back out without my food), and said food did not make anybody in the family sick. So, there's that.
When I walked up to the counter there were only two employees in sight, both of them busy preparing other orders on the make line. After a couple of awkward minutes one of them walked into the back to fetch another employee (the manager?) who eventually lumbered up to the register to ring me up. Literally the only time I have EVER picked up a pizza without tipping at the register.
Unless you're doing it on a dare, and stand to win something worthwhile for going through with it, I do not recommend...
Read moreOh I wish I could add pics on this review. Drove from NY to the Clarion Hotel 2 miles from Pizza Hut. I placed an order at 8:40pm and they told me pizza will be here in 45 mins. So at 9:45 I called to inquire on my pizza and girl sounded confused and told me it is on its way and not to worry. At 10:05pm I called and the manager answered and assured me my food should’ve already arrived and there’s nothing he can do cause they’re closed. Two mins after I got off the phone, my order arrived and the driver apologizes and tells me he’s sorry it took so long and that he had a bad day and to sign my receipt. Brought the food in and my husband asks if I took a bite from the pizza and I NO. Looked at my order and smack in the middle a bite was missing from a slice. I called the restaurant again and told the manager what had happened. He told me he would make a new one but they’re closed and he’s void my check. It’s all fine and dandy but everywhere was closed for food at almost 10:30pm. Worst Pizza Hut experience EVER!!! Worst customer service EVER!!! I called corporate right after and I had better service over the phone with a complete stranger. I’m still shocked at what happened.
