My new favorite shrimp tacos! Wow I was amazed at how delicious these tacos were, even had avocado. The staff are soooo nice and cheerful. Parking can be a bit tight and table is usually in the shade. Nice to have Riptide coffee next door for a lunchtime pick me up.

I’ve had shrimp tacos and carnitas. The carnitas are some of the best around. THEY ARE CRISPY!!

Gluten free Dairy free Nut free Soy free Sugar free!!! Now it’s all cooked in the same place so keep that in mind but I had a celiac friend say they can actually eat here without reacting and I don’t have bad reactions with my restrictions either. Amazing.

okay, you have to take this review in context. I'm giving it 4 stars because that's the highest rating I can give a taco truck, it is after all a taco truck. I would give it 5 stars, but I can't, because it is a taco truck. That said it is some of my favorite Mexican food in Arcata, and for a small town there are a lot of choices. The menu is diverse, they accommodate special requests, delicous vegetarian options, and they use two tortillas on their tacos. I probably eat here twice a week. We had our wedding catered by Almas. Food was Delicious, but for the price ($1,300) it was a big mistake. Not what we we ordered at all and we ran out of condiments right away. it took them 5 days to pick up their dishes! We received two calls from town hall that the dishes were smelling. Our wedding was on Saturday and we called Almas numerous times Sunday with no answer. We advise you to get a Written agreement with these folks if doing business. We
