Mia Bella Cupcakes — Restaurant in Arcata

I've been to Mia Bella's many many many times. I usually aim for their fruity or nutty cupcakes that they offer. My favorite is their champagne cupcakes or ones with filling and I have yet to find anything like them again. I have recently moved away and find myself longing for cupcakes like theirs often. I cannot find another place like Mia Bella's. I wish I could where I moved to, their flavors and balance in sweetness is unprecedented. It takes an amazing baker with a passion to make their cupcakes. You may think they are over priced, but I promise you I would pay double to find half the talent in any other cupcake shop kitchen that I've been to since. In fact, I have paid twice as much for a cupcake that is no where near as good as Mia Bella's in search of finding a cupcake to satisfy me after moving away. Yet, to no avail. I'm very critical about a balanced cupcake and I cannot stress how perfect their options and cupcakes truly are. Their cupcakes made me this way- now that I've had Mia Bella's I cannot go back to the basic, overly sweet, run of the mill, cupcake shop. They make the cupcakes from scratch every morning and I highly recommend looking at their Facebook page for their daily updated flavors. If you come too late they will be cleared out because their cupcakes are just that good. Check their Facebook page for the flavors of the day, then you can call in the morning and schedule a pick-up too, so you don't run into a small selection if you get off work later. Don't not show up, go and if you can't make it in time to pick them up, call them, they deserve that. I literally use to go once a week and buy myself and my friends severalllllll cupcakes. I genuinely miss their cupcakes and they really have the best quality cupcakes I have EVER had. It doesn't matter if it's a Tuesday or a Saturday that you go- they are consistent in their flavors, love and dedication for cupcakes. It takes love for what you are doing to make such cupcakes. They are a delicacy I chase month after month and I cannot satisfy. I will be stopping by anytime I'm back in that area and I know I'll be satisfied once again. I cannot wait til then. They also offer vegan and gluten free cupcakes too, which I've also enjoyed. They even made a post to hire happier front cashier's. This tells you they take reviews on Google seriously and want to reflect a happy customer and front of shop worker from previous Google reviews. I don't know any of the actual people that run this store just how greatly their cupcakes touched me as a customer.

The cupcakes were delicious,got a dozen....key lime...cotton candy...snicker doodles....cookies monsters plus more .....the cashier girl wasent very pleasant and made us feel as if she didn't want too help us...had too ask about sales....prices when you buy more than one.... It just seems that we were in inconvenience to her...... Maybe because she was on the cell phone get it out of your...

My partner took me here for a birthday treat. I got a raspberry lemonade cupcake and he got a coconut cream pie cupcake. They were beautifully decorated, the cake was moist and fluffy, the icing was perfect and there was a delicious filling in the center of each. I really like the way the shop is decorated too, it made for a cute experience....
