Felt like we were in an episode of the Twilight Zone - after a grueling hike in the hot sun up near Baker, we were on a mission to find ice cream or shakes or some kind of cold treat and expected to have to drive a bit since so many businesses along the way seemed closed or not offering what we were looking for. Then we saw the sign along the road that simply read "Ice Cream" with an arrow and we nearly missed the turn into the parking lot, but we made it - look for the wall of skis along the back of the parking lot and you won't miss it! I decided to try the chocolate waffle cone with two scoops: coconut and coconut mango chocolate. The coconut ice cream was light and creamy, with coconut shavings mixed in; the coconut mango chocolate had swirls of chocolate and mango chunks, and I'm happy to say that it does not taste like artificial mango at all (which I personally find tastes like the smell of a sweaty sock after a long hike). So I'm very happy with both flavors, and the chocolate cone was a nice way to change things up a bit! Thanks for satisfying our cravings - looking forward to stopping there again next time I'm headed up that way.

First I would like to say, I saw a 1 star review - and after trying this place, I could not believe it- so I clicked on that person’s profile and it looks like he has given 1 stars to multiple restaurants… which is not cool and says a lot about that person.

So in theory, this place should have 5/5 stars and rightfully so! The ice cream is so good, the dairy is local, and the owner was extremely nice!

I love little town ice cream shops and this one definitely did not disappoint. I got the cappuccino chip and the scoops were very generous.

If you are in the area,...

Such a great little place to visit after a day long hike. The ice cream is really good and the prices are perfect. It's $6 for a single scoop sugar cone or $7 for a double scoop waffle. It's a no-brainer to go for the double. My favorite by far is the coconut. It's a dairy based ice cream with bits of coconut. The waffle cones are also perfectly crunchy. They also have benches and play big band music while you relax. I hope I see this place open every summer for our...
