Waited in car for 15min for the store to open @10am, store gates were down at 10:15am called the store to find out what was going on got no answer, another 8minutes went passed and someone finally pulled the gates up. Had to wait another few minutes for them to get situated & to put food out. Just to find out there chicken still needed an half an hour cooking time and there other foods was limited, they only had sweet plantains and yuca done.
The other customers that waited in there vehicles were also upset and went elsewhere to get there food. My parents decided to go home while they got it together. We came back an hour later and there were 14people in line ahead of me. 😒😫 finally made it to the counter at 12:08pm placed my order. Food was amazing but lack of courtesy and opening on time, the slow as molasses attitude & the fact there was no food ready, made me give them a 1star. Also there menu has changed and there prices went up a lot, my food went from $8.50 a few months ago to $15.58 for a serving of rice and beans, 1 sweet plantain, some carne frita and 1small piece of batata (basically a platter size)
All there sides are really delicious no complains...

At first me and my dad wanted to have a roasted chicken combo, but unfortunately it was sold out and the ladies behind the counter said it would take a bit of a while to have it ready. So me and my dad had the bbq pork ribs plate with rice and beans. I liked how they cooked the rice. My mom had the guineo verdes escabeche, she truly enjoyed the plate she was having. As for the pork ribs I was having it was not bad despite the fact that it had a lot of fat, which I may say is quite common that you would find in other establishments. It was a...
Read moreThis spot truly delivered! While visiting San Juan, I was eager to find authentic Puerto Rican food, and after trying a few places that fell short, this one exceeded all expectations. The food was fresh, flavorful, and packed with those authentic tastes I was craving. The menu offered a great variety at reasonable prices, and the portions were so generous I couldn’t even finish my meal. It’s not a typical tourist spot, but it’s absolutely...
