Really disappointed. We had planned two birthday parties 3 months ago for our two daughters and we sent out invitations indicating that we would go to Gnome Cones after dinner at Earl’s. It is my daughter’s 13th and 16th birthdays. We walked over after dinner with our entire party of 16 people only to find out that this location randomly decided to close for the weekend. I checked their hours online before sending out invites 2 months ago and their posted hours on Google and at the stand indicated that they should be open until 9pm tonight. We had to improvise quickly to figure out another plan for our get-together. We had planned to hang out in the courtyard and have sno-cones and finish our party outside. Thankfully, Earl’s rescued us by letting us use their outside patio while we scrambled to go next door and buy small ice cream cups from CVS. We were really embarrassed.
You need to update all of your social media if you decide to close down in the middle of summer. There was no indication that your shop was going to be closed.
I just read on another review that you responded by indicating that you are having problems with your AC. That’s reasonable. What’s not reasonable is leaving your customers in the dark. Common courtesy would indicate that you leave a sign on the establishment explaining the problems that you are having. You also need to update Google so that people who regularly search Google and read your posted hours there will know that you are closed temporarily. You can mark your business as “temporarily...
Read moreOk. We went to youth group at The Well Argyle and I wanted to treat the kids and a visitor. I knew there was a snow cone stand so we parked and walked over. I was greeted by someone that was super cheerful and eager to help. The flavors are different so I asked for a sample to ensure I would love it. They provided the sample.
I saw the sign saying NO followed buy a list of things like artificial colors. I thought “how can you do a snow cone without colors?” She explained there were colors but its all natural.
My kids love sweets but usually the other stands are icky sweet and end up burning my throat. After one bite I looked and saw fragments of real fruit that was blended to make my flavor.
I loved every bite and at the end wanted more. It tastes amazing but healthy at the same time. I will not dread taking my kids knowing that its so much better...
Read moreSuch a fun cute little date area. Snow cones are adorable. Service is friendly. Prices are decent ($4 I believe for a small) and you get a good amount too. I got 2 smalls and I couldn't finish mine. Flavors are cool. I like that they're not overly sweet! Just like the sign says, the snow cones are gnome shaped! Just perfect. I love the aesthetic too. I hope they stick around. The BBQ place next to it sadly doesn't look like it's there anymore. Fairly good parking for a small area and not too busy in my opinion. Kimzey's coffee cottage is right next to it if you want a coffee beverage as well as...
