Well this is the only Sonic inside of a Shell gas station that I have come across so far I know that they are other sonics out there where you can actually go in there and it's actually Sonic where you can sit in there You don't have to worry about it being shared with a gas station but also not to mention used to be able to call in and place your order with Sonic and you didn't have to worry about having to deal with the using the app you know which was really convenient and it did help a lot because if you're a person that's trying to you know grab you something you know for breakfast you know to take something to work with you and you haven't had a chance to fix you nothing at home for to take and eat for breakfast you want to be able to take a call into the restaurant and place your order and that way they can go ahead and get it started and you let them know how long it'll be before you get there okay But this place it seems like these people are either too act like they don't want to be bothered you know and you got a lot of teenagers know actually working at these places and when you said they're trying to place your order you got to make sure that you repeat your order to them so they can make sure they get it right but also you got to remember that you got a majority of the people that's working in these places they don't understand English that well so of course you know they are going to have to translate to the person that's in the kitchen cooking the food because they Don't understand English at all okay or either they claim they don't understand English but the majority of them people they understand English very well they just don't choose to want to have to deal with no people you know when it comes to know having to relay to them what it is they're there to purchase meeting when they purchase trying to give their order they want to make sure that they get what they're paying for Not have these individuals portioning out food to them okay My thing is for the price isn't nowadays that most of these places have went up drastically and a lot of you I'm sure have seen the prices on a lot of these food items have definitely doubled they have definitely increased even in the grocery stores they've increased a lot All right So If you're spending your money you should be able to as a customer as a paying customer you have the right to take and make sure that these individuals taking your order get your food right and if it's not right you have the right to definitely give it back to them and let them know sir ma'am Hey you mess my order up this is not what I ordered I asked for my sandwich to be made a certain way I asked for this or that again bottom line is you have a right to take in you know let them know that they mess the order up and if they can please fix it and make it the way that you ask for it to be made because you are the one that's paying the money okay I don't care if those individuals is taking your order or the people in the kitchen get an attitude cuz they got to fix it over it's not your fault That's not your problem it's theirs because if they follow the directions that you gave the person taking your order and the person that took your order was supposed to relay that information to the people in the kitchen because if for one it's on the screen So if the people looking at the screen can't understand English and they're not taking and making the food the way that it's supposed to be made that's the fault of the people in the kitchen that's making the food not the father of the patron the paying customer it's the father of the people that's supposed to be fixing the food they supposed to pay attention to what the screen says and what the orders were pertaining to the instructions on how the customer who's paying the money told them how they want their food made because of the end of the day like the saying goes the customer is supposed to be right all right So if the person that's taking the order and making the food got a unprofessional attitude then they need to...
Read moreIf you see a bunch of landscape and utility trucks parked all alongside the the drive as you come into the gas station I'm letting you know right now Your best bet is to take and go in pullover park or your food on a Sonic app and go in and get your food that's the best advice I can give you because I'm telling you right now it's going to be busy inside cuz you got all those people all those landscapers in there trying to order food you got people that probably work on the roads and stuff like that inside in there ordering food waiting for their food not to mention on the Shell gas station side you got a bunch of people in there a lot of them landscapers that bring their food to warm it up and everything that you may use trying to use the microwaves in that so it's like Grand Central Station a bunch of people lined up trying to warm their food up or warm up food that they bought that they pay for on the Shell gas station side of the building inside I'm telling you it's like people lined up like they getting ready to get food baskets or something it's just that many people that was in there I'll lie to you not and I joke you not noon lunch time that's what it look like in there So tell you right now if you see a bunch of trucks bunch of vehicles you lined up along the drive going up the hill along that railing parked off to the right just in a lot of vehicles parked at the gas pumps just know that you want to pull over go to the Sonic app and order your food online That way you can walk in there pick it up keep it moving let your buddies know that your family numbers know if there's not a lot of people in the drive through which around noon time you got a lot of teenagers coming from the Liberty Christians high School down the street not to mention people that work at some of them little businesses around here coming there to try to get food and then soon they're getting ready to order a shopping plaza there next door to the Sonic Shell gas station or opposite side of the car wash so again your best bet is to order your food online but also there is a Taco Bell on 407 Justin Road right off the I-35 going towards harvest just food for thought so a lot of you didn't know that there's a Taco Bell down further up 407 before you get to I-35 you can go down there also.
People need to start using a common sense a lot of you people that will be going up there to that Sonic thinking that you going to get through and it's not going to take long some days yes you can get through where it won't take long it's pretty quick cuz it just depends on what time of day you go but the thing is this a lot of people pull up in there thinking it oh it's not going to take that long If you see and this is something that people need to start using playing common sense a lot of you don't use common sense you pull up in the drive-thru you see a bunch of cars sitting and drive through please tell me and help me to understand for the love of God why in the hell are you guys pulling into a drive-through when you see a bunch of cars thinking that you going to get through there fast there's one lane for the drive through not two one So please start using plain comments God giving sense and stop pulling into a drive-thru with a bunch of cars stop being lazy pull over park your car somewhere in that parking lot get out go inside and go get your food but use the Sonic app to get your food order your food online check your food before you leave because if they didn't make your food right you can give it back to him and have them to make it over fresh I'm telling you a lot of you guys don't check your food for you leave then when you pull off you got to come drive all the way back there and give them the food back and tell them that they miss something or they messed up the order they didn't make it right check your food before you leave That's simple plane common sense it's not rocket...
Read moreThis location was once really good. But the last several times we’ve been there they keep messing up our orders. We order online, so there’s not a microphone misunderstanding, it’s just plain carelessness.
Tonight we got our order in and a little bit later showed up at the store. They brought our drinks to us right away. Then I sat for about 15 min at the window waiting for the food.
During this time, there were 5 people at the front end. One was making drinks for an order and the other 4 were walking around, talking, putting receipts and stickers on each other, and occasionally looking my way through the window.
Finally, after 15 minutes, I got handed a bag. We ordered 4 combos. There were two in this bag and a corn dog. I said it wasn’t our order and handed it back.
Now, I had to look at this order to make sure I wasn’t seeing it wrong. So I touched the fry containers to move them out of the way and touched the corn dog because “what is this?”.
They look in the bag, ask if I knew what I ordered, so I handed them the receipt that was attached to my drinks.
I’m completely certain they took the bag I handed back and gave it to the car behind me. Super hygienic.
They went “oh, you had an online order!” And handed me two bags that had very obviously been sitting there for some time. None of the food had warmth to it.
When I pulled up, initially, I announced we had an online order.
We got home. Our tea and lemonades had no lemonade. We sat waiting for so long our Coke order had water at the top. They got the Dr Pepper right. All of our food was cold. I bit into my burger and almost spit it out. I had asked for mustard and somehow got triple mayonnaise.
This is what we’ve gotten from this location now each of the last 3 times we’ve gone.
Tonight, I called the store to talk to a manager. I was not surprised to find there was not one on duty.
This store needs an aggressive corporate visit. They are numerically well staffed, but apparently they can’t read or can’t be bothered to pay attention to any details.
We’re going to give them a few weeks to get their act together and try one more time (there are not a lot of options close by) and after that…well…there are no more nearby Sonics, so that will probably be the end of it for us. That or careful inspection of every item in store every time.
