Bruegger's Bagels — Restaurant in Arizona

This location of Bruegger's Bagels feels just like the (I think it was Bagel and Bagel, not sure but I believe started in midwest or KC and was later then purchased by Einstein Brothers) local Prairie Village, Kansas bagelry a mile from my former home in Kansas City area. I see familiar faces, I feel the "owner" is there + managers consistent, their tea, and I think they have both fresh brewed and a "label" are constantly being replenished (of course, more the homemade one! more work for them) and they will customize any sandwich while still staying super efficient with time. There are regulars, and I believe there is some kind of discount card that can be purchased this time of year for certain drinks to be either discounted or free for the year.

I don't even know if I have ever gone to a Bruegger's in another location as I don't eat '3 squares a day' nor am I quite to the point here of having someone in the area that I would meet for coffee, but this is a great spot. There is a competitor of a completely different "genre" (european pastries) that has this feel in a different way, but it's really great that they chose to locate in this somewhat "rural" (by a mountain) area where there is little retail and I'm sure at first it was a risk, but I would think that now they would feel it was a mutual gain to the community.

Oh yes! Excellent food, panini, the "skinny" sandwiches, salads....cookies chips, etc. and feels a little ( a lot) more elegant than Subway and not quite as cavernous as Panera's I'm sure need to be, (not that I don't like all of these and go there, I do), while still giving good, efficient food at an affordable price. I not only love to eat here, but i also work here! We make fresh bagels daily, good sized portions, and excellent smoothies! If you like McDonald's frappe then stop in here and try a breuggachino! All staff members here are very polite and friendly and you're in and out of the store in just a couple minutes! We have lots of people who come in every single day. That's gotta stand for something, right? Whether i work here or not, ill always eat at this Breuggers. Whether its 1 bagel sandwich, a single bagel with cream cheese, or a baker's dozen, this is the place to go for fresh Bagels and one of the biggest varieties of cream cheeses...

This was my first time at this location, and the service I got was not great. The gentleman making my food was perfectly pleasant! However the girl at the register had a negative attitude and was abrupt while ringing me up. She just said “it’s my first day” while yelling across to her coworkers. I asked for a seasonal latte, and was given a plain one. It was fixed, however I felt like I was inconveniencing them when I just wanted what I ordered.
