Terrible experience trying for free Trial!
I got an email below once i signed up for free trial. It clearly says "no obligation" basically hassle free but once i called and spoke to someone it sounds the opposite (see email quote below).
First email: " Thank you for signing up for a free, no obligation, 7-day trial at Any time Fitness. To arrange a visit during staffed hours, please contact the gym at the phone number or email address below. Then show this email when you visit the gym. See you soon! " Email asks for much more than no obligation experience: Deposit $$ and proof of residency.
" We would be happy to get you set up with a 7 day trial pass, which you would be able to use the gym any time of the day 24x7 throughout the seven day period. This is a free pass which does require a $49.00 deposit on a credit card for your security key which would be refunded in full at the end of the seven days when you return the key. We accept Visa, MasterCard and AMEX. You must be at least 18 years of age. We do not accept cash or check. We will make a copy of your AZ driverās license.
If you have just moved here and your license does not show Tucson, we will need proof that you are a local resident to honor this offer, i.e. a local driverās license, utility bill, etc. Free trials are not available for students, but we do offer a Student Summer Special and Winter Special with a student ID and...

Weight machines were in like-new condition w/o broken pins, etc.. Kettle balls, dumbbells, yoga mats, etc. Clean as a whistle; especially the ladies bathroom. Towels are provided. There is cleaning spray bottles and cleaning cloths to wipe down equiptment. Cubbies for you gym bag, etc. Cell phone charging station⦠plus 2 hunky...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI scheduled a gym tour that was advertised online to include a free day pass. I arrived on time for my 12 PM tour, but the owner, who was on the phone, rudely told me to "walk around." While still on the phone, she abruptly asked what I wanted. When I explained I was there for my scheduled tour and the free day pass, she refused the tour and angrily demanded $10, claiming she doesn't honor the free day pass advertised by Anytime Fitness for this location. She then told me to complain to Anytime Fitness corporate. However, the corporate website states that all complaints must be handled by individual, independently owned gyms. Never going to this...
