Copper Cactus Grill at Harrah's Ak-Chin — Restaurant in Arizona

I don’t usually write reviews but felt like I needed too. I was there 12-21-24 and waited in a long line which was ok. I didn’t mind waiting. When it was my turn the older lady at the counter just left without saying she would be back or going on break. The younger one was taking all orders and called me over. I asked why the older lady didn’t state she was leaving and the young lady got upset. I treated her with respect when I asked that question. I informed her it was rude to just leave and not say anything. She stayed @I don’t say anything when I leave on break” I explained to her that a simple sentence would be great to let people know they are going on break or leaving for the day. She was really upset as I could tell by her facial expressions. She took my order and gave me the food buzzer and I sat down. I watched as other people who had ordered after me got there food and I had not been beeped. I went up and spoke to younger woman after waiting 30 minutes. She was annoyed and told me it would be another 3 minutes. I believe that I didn’t get my food because I asked a simple question. I love going to AkChin all other workers in that casino are always helpful and polite. I go to Cactus grill often and I’m always amazed at how they treat people. Honestly so very disappointed with tonight's dinner staff. Waited very patiently for our food(Club sandwich, Chicken wrap and a Pretzel) waited over an hour to be told our food was still not done, within that time frame at least 6 other couples behind us had gotten their food eaten it and left, mind you their food was things such as hamburgers & pizza's which take much longer to make.So confuses as to why my food(Pretzel, Club sandwich and Chicken wrap)still wasn't ready I go up to the counter to ask them what was going on to be told the same thing "just another minute". As time goes by it still wasn't ready after an hour and 30 minutes, By this time I am completely baffled as to how it can still not be done and ask for a refund. When asking for a refund the lady looks at me with a blank expression and tells me to move out of the way, she then goes and gets another employee who is much nicer and kindly gives me a refund. It is very disappointing to pay to stay at such a nice resort and have one of the main food places be this disappointing. The people and service tonight at Copper Cactus Grill have completely hindered our relaxing time at this resort. Will never be dinner here again when coming back to this resort and will tell many to never eat here or even bother...

We've been coming here for years. It's been about four months, since we were last here. Our typical order is a chicken fingers meal with fries, and a drink. We also ordered a pizza, and sopapillas. However, it is never consistent with the chicken fingers. Sometimes you get 4, and other times you get 6, or you get a few small, awkward, shaped pieces. The fries are hit or miss. A drink also comes with the meal. Otherwise, they are $3.99. Also, the pizza could use a wee bit more pepperoni too!

We got our drinks first, and wow, we noticed that they changed the drinking cup size. It is now smaller, but the price is still the same. Seriously?! The other competitor casinos, offer complimentary beverages. Harrah's, you can do better than that!
