2022: Very good, strong margaritas. Quite good food and service. Left full and happy. Pretty pricey but I will return again. EDIT June 2023: I don't know what the heck happened tonight, but I received horribly non existent service this time around. Thank goodness I pay in cash. Everything was so slowwww, even though the staff seemed sufficient in number of staff vs customers. I waited about 5 mins longer than I should have to place my food order, and the waiter had changed too. I was sat by one girl, a different girl took my drink order, but then after waiting on her for quite awhile to place my food order, then a gentleman came along, he was the nicest, and kind of sensed I had been waiting too long and took my order. But then after he placed my food order and brought it to me, and it did come out pretty quickly after I finally got to PLACE the order, but then he also disappeared after and didn't check in again. And I waited WAY longer than I should have to get a chance to ask for my check and a box. I guess wait staff some places just really like to discriminate against a solo diner. But truth is, I'm an extremely generous tipper...when I receive actual service. Heck just this morning, I tipped 60% on my breakfast at a different place. I would have gotten the chance to order a 2nd margarita as well tonight, if anyone had come by before I had been sitting forever. But I had already been there an hour. So good thing I had cash to leave at the table because sure enough, quite a few mins passed after the check was given to me too. I really had to get going. However, the food and the margarita was still very good. But I absolutely will be trying a different place next time I'm in the...
Read moreI got fajitas and a Mexican pizza. I was surprised how good the pizza was but eat it as fresh as possible. I don't eat out right now, so we got it to go and I knew it would've been awesome fresh instead of after I got home. The fajitas tasted good but there wasn't a ton of food. The order was almost completely onions and peppers, not that they weren't delicious too but for the price of nearly 30 bucks I think it warrants substantial amounts of ingredients that cost significant amounts of money. After I was done I thought "Well that was pretty dang good and about the right portions, but glad we got a Mexican pizza or else it wouldn't be enough for one person." I asked my GF how much it cost and she went "uhh they were supposedly fajitas for two... And they were 30 bucks." I about lost my sh!t. So yeah. If you get fajitas, expect a pile of deliciously cooked onions and peppers with about an ounce each of steak and chicken haphazardly sprinkled on top. I'm 190lbs 6ft tall and I admit I'm a big enough eater so maybe it's just me. Probably best to avoid that and just get a pizza. It's dirt cheap, made of dirt cheap ingredients, and tastes awesome. But eat it in the car before your drive home or maybe just get...
Read moreI tried them when they first opened in Show Low, it was the worst food and service i have ever had in 54 yrs of my life. Everyone said to give them one more chance, and we did. Last night, 4/15/2016. Our server Gustavo was wonderful. The spoiled little girl at the front was rude, took us to a dirty table, tossed our menu's on the table and said "there" and walked off back to her station to play on her phone. Our silverware was dirty, I was raised around Mexicans from south Tucson, as well they are in my family and that was NOT real mexican food, we had chimi,s for dinner, my husbands chicken was not seasoned nor was my shreaded meat. The red souce was like a paste and the chimi's was not fried well, the tortilla was still uncooked which made the tortilla soggy from the red souce. The rice and beans were pretty good. The portions were off. You got a lot of rice and beans, and it came with sour cream and gauamole, but the chimi had very little meat and my hand was bigger then it was, over all it was not that bad but nothing said to me "that they wanted returned customers. It is sad they call them selves Authintic when i can make better mexican...
