Decent atmosphere, snug bar that’s brightly lit with a few high tops to the side (these are more cozy and have dimmer lighting). The parking lot is always packed so I had to see what it was all about. The bartender was really nice and helpful with my questions about the menu. I love that kids can order a steak here for $10. I tried the cup of gumbo which was actually really flavorful and dark, not like some places around here who think they are serving gumbo. I’d go back for that alone. The fried pickles were the long, thin sandwich pickles- they were cooked perfectly but not the best I’ve had. Lastly the fried seafood platter was pretty decent- typical fried stuff- but if you love frog legs it comes with those, shrimp, one piece of catfish and A DELICIOUS CRAB CAKE! You get two sides, I recommend the home cut fries with extra seasoning- they aren’t those frozen battered taters restaurants think are better. I give three stars only because the atmosphere isn’t much to write home about and doesn’t match the prices, it’s a little bright for the bar, only one size draft and a little on the pricey side for the taste of things and that I was told the house dressing is ranch. I do really appreciate the home cut fries, the gumbo and the crab cake though and would recommend all three.

This was by far the BEST meal I have had in Hot Springs to date. The staff was amazing; the atmosphere was pleasing; very clean. You can sit and eat in the dining area or sit at the bar and watch a game. Forrest, the chef, was so nice and cooked our steaks to perfection; no joke. The crab was boiled perfectly; the baked potatoes were delicious; crab cakes were PHENOMENAL.!!! The salads were off the chain.! Soooooo good.! Should you decide to dine here, be sure to request to meet him and thank him-I promise you will want to. The food is that good.!!!! It’s quiet enough to enjoy your company and busy enough to know that enough people knows it’s the place to be. There are little sliding doors that can make your corner booth a little more private for date night. I love that idea. We were seated quickly and treated so well.

I went to this place tonight after craving it for two months. Had the people I had been with not had sick high anxiety I would have complained! I absolutely love this place tell everyone that comes to hot springs to eat there well that stops tonight! We came in the hostess was really nice our waitress to die for! The bartender very very unprofessional! We were sat at a table off in the corner and immediately the bartender yelled not once but twice two the Waitresses and hostess that we where sat at the wrong table and that that table (our table was meant for these people) idk if she thought that they had more money than us or if they where regulars but it made us feel like we were less of people than they where and like we where being punished! We then waited a very long time for our steaks to come out which where entirely to salty way over cooked! Mind you those special people that came after us we watched them eat there entire meal with to go boxes in hand ticket and everything before our meal was ever served! The bar tender made sure that it was known they where special people where top priority right in front of our face it was very degrading! Then the worst part is as soon as I got into the parking lot I got sick immediately! My entire meal was left in the parking lot and that’s exactly where it will stay and I will never be back! Thank you for making a date night a...

Me and family came here for dinner during vacation in lovely hot springs Arkansas. The service and food was spectacular. Now let me say that I ordered my steak medium rare. When I got my steak it was over done but I was not gonna return it. I would not want to waste food and I know the restaurant was busy. I mentioned it to my waiter Penny. He was ready to take it back and give me a new one. I just wanted to mention it and maybe I shouldn't have but it was delicious of course. My family had a great meal and everyone was happy. I was happy and so grateful to the restaurant staff and management. Penny said they took my steak off the bill and pleaded with him not to do that. I was more than willing to pay for everything. Penny stated that no way, lost creek knows how to cook steaks and that he wanted us to have a great experience. I was more than pleased and felt that it was unnecessary. I wanted to expressed my gratitude and say this place is a excellent choice for a great family experience. Lost creek will always be on my list of great restaurants. The hickory smoked ribeye is one of the most deliciously cooked steaks I have ever eaten. Thank you so much Penny and thank you so much to the staff and management. We WILL be back to this...
