Hoppin place from open to close. This is a mom and pop shop with breakfast and lunch items, however the breakfast menu does end daily. The servers are nice, and have good chemistry with each other and those you can tell are regulars. Fun little spot if you want to avoid the chains. Has a modern soda shop feel to it. The burger was decent, just needed more seasoning. The fries were alright, better than the tots. The BLT wasn’t much to write home about but better than Sonic’s all day. Kids catfish was the winner of the table and definitely worth getting as an adult. Great texture and decently priced.

You HAVE to try this local small business! When you wanna eat like the locals, order the chocolate gravy. HOLY SMOKES! I’d NEVER heard of it. Let’s just say, I’ll be telling everyone. The service was A1. We sat at the bar and got the best experience. We got to chat with the staff and they were all fantastic. We felt so appreciated as customers. The food! 🤤 not a single complaint. Treat yourself and order a biscuit before they run out, then put some butter on it and wait to be taken to heaven! (While you wait throw some chocolate gravy on that bad boy.)

It's actually called Greg's Rise & Dine Cafe Inc. The food is great. I got the fish sandwich with fries. The fish is fried catfish, not cod, or some fish patty. The people are always friendly. Don't let the front door fool you since the windows have a sunscreening film on them which makes it hard to see if anyone's inside. It's not one if those chain restaurants. You can check out their menu. You'll be glad that you are there. This is a photo of the fish sandwich plate. Their catfish as well as their burgers are delicious.

I took my boys and I on a little mini vacation up to Hot Springs at the beginning of this month, I really wanted some brunch like food and decided to come here. The young black haired waitress is so lucky that the healed version of me is so much better than the person I was 20 years ago because trust and believe, the way she talked to my 10 year old had me baffled. He wanted lunch and again, we've never been to this spot, it was around 1030 when we came in and ordered and that chick was snarky, rude, and her attitude really needed some adjustments done to it. If this is who you hire in a vacation town, you lose the potential to have regulars when they're vacationing here. When you have a waitress treat people the way she treated us and when I told her I wanted someone else to serve us, she was baffled as to think how could I even request someone else but she needs to take some accountability on her attitude and how she approaches anyone in a vacation spot. The food, though, was okay, and I was pleasantly surprised after the interaction from the first waitress that it was decent for the price. It all boils down to the first impression is usually the correct one and I almost got up and walked out after that interaction but I stayed because my children and I were hungry and ready to go back home. Just beware of this waitress, and if you so happen to get her, request someone else immediately, but the owner and the other waitress were very inviting, and pleasant, so as long as you're interacting with them,...

My girlfriend and I arrived around about early mid morning. Had looked over the reviews the night before and figured this would be the place to go. Well wrong choice… Walked in the door and waited around for a couple seconds for someone to greet us. After standing there awkwardly for a while decided to sit in the only open table left. Noticed that there were only two waitresses working, so we expected a long wait. However would still like to be acknowledged and at least told that it would be a second before we got waited on. None of the above was done. Sat at the table for 15 minutes. No one ever made eye contact. It’s like we were invisible. Finally decided to go up to the counter and asks for some menus. Thinking this would give them the benefit of the doubt if they didn’t see us. Received the menus and returned to my seat. Browsed through the menu figured out what we wanted. By this time it had been an additional 10 minutes and still a bare table in front of us not even silverware. We had decided to return the menus and seek our cravings elsewhere. I can’t review the food heard it’s good but wouldn’t know. We would’ve had probably waited if we had at least had a drink order taken. I understand understaffing is an issue, but this was in acceptable no matter the conditions. For this is the reason of the 1 star review. Will never recommend to anyone. Hopefully others will have a better experience...

They were quite busy so don't expect to get in and out in a hurry. The food was good ol' diner fare. Everything was good until I saw a waitress put several plates of food on the wrong table. When realized, she picked it up and put it on the correct table, which might not have been so bad, but the one plate that sat on the wrong table, the wrong customer was breathing on it and holding the plate with both hands. The waitress picked it out of the woman's hands and gave it to the correct table. No way would I want to eat the food someone was breathing over especially in this day and age. Thus the reason for the 3.

Today (sunday) went back and got there early. Had the waffle with FRESH fruit, not canned or sugared. Very tasty. Their oatmeal is very good for diner oays, not too gummy or flavorless. Their omelets are what you would expect from a diner, filled up with ingredients but not "fluffly". The pancakes are good. Biscuits are good, guessing the gravy is from a package, but still tasty. The hash browns are crispy and good. Their home made corned beef hash is more potatoes than corned beef, but better than nothing and better than canned. Next time i get them with an egg, that should make them mo' bettah. The prices are very reasonable.. glad to know I don't have to cook breakfast every time I...
