Normally, I'm pretty easy to get along with. Unfortunately, it seems time has shifted the emphasis in food service customer service from an all around pleasant experience, to only really about the food, and all too often, even THAT is a stretch. My experience in this subway tonight was exactly what I've just described. The young lady dressing the sandwiches was rude... Obviously irritated by my presence a half hour before close, as indicated by her attitude, and total lack of response when I apologized for walking on her freshly mopped floor. She just scowled at me and said "How many sandwiches?" The experience didn't get any better, in fact it just went downhill from there. The food wasn't as fresh as I have come to expect from a restaurant that boasts about their product freshness. Brown lettuce isn't what I would call fresh, and the bread was hard. Then, as I sit in my car and write this review, she locked the door, turned the open sign off, and shut the lights in the lobby down... At 8:40.    Read moreWhile there was nothing wrong with our food or service, during our visit another customer had come back in as there was a mistake with a sandwich in her order. One young man fixed the sandwich for the customer and they left with the corrected sandwich. Here is where things took a turn. One of the other employees went on a tirade about the mistake that was made on the order, criticized how the young man corrected it, and then went on to knit pick everything this young man does as if she was personally losing something over him his solution to a problem. This went on for the duration of our meal. The two male employees were trying to disengage with the critical one but she would not stop. I am not sure who was in charge, but regardless of if she was or was not in a supervisory role this emplyee was very much in the wrong. Being this is a small store, discretion would have probably been a good idea for her, because I really wouldn't come back to sit down and eat at this location again.    Read moreI came in Saturday after finishing work and starving hadnât eaten all day. I didnât get tomatoes because they looked like they were sitting out for two days. I got what i always get except tomatoes and mayo. They were out of mayo. Okay i have mayo at home no biggie. I get home the bread is so hard i canât even bite into it. It was not toasted either. So it shouldnât have been hard as a rock and inedible. I tried calling and got a recording saying they are not excepting calls. I paid over thirty dollars for two sandwiches that were inedible. Plus I tipped the girl 20% didnât get a thank you nothing. This is where I just donât want to tip ungrateful people anymore. She clearly didnât want to be there.
