This is by far the worst Andy's custard so far. If only they could get things right at this location. Customer service- I ordered 3 custards. The young woman who took our order got an attitude when I was trying to inform her about the issues we've been having with the custards here. The issue that I was trying to tell her about was that our custards haven't been properly mixed for a really long time. She took it as I wanted it well blended and just walked off. She never came back out. So when I recieved my custard it was way too blended to where it was melting and all the pie pieces were in itty bitty crumbles. Quality- The quality is sub par to other locations. The Dallas location is way better than this location but I'm not about to drive all the way to Dallas just to get Andy's. I'll get it there whenever I'm in Dallas. Honestly every time I get it at the Dallas location it's much better. Such as last time I was in Dallas I got a pumpkin pie concrete and Omg it was soooo much better. I really hate to be a drag but I can't deal with y'all's passive aggressive attitude and bad quality custard. I know what it's supposed to taste like. #sorrynotsorry All in all I couldn't eat it 🤮 Edit: okay so I went back a couple times and it got better on the custard part, still there days where it’s melty The concern I have with custard being melty is if it’s not properly mixed it’s not cooked When it’s properly mixed the egg used to make the custard is edible If not then you’re risking making ppl sick and that’s a huge concern for me. I will continue to go but if this kinda thing keeps happening I can’t eat here as I don’t have an iron stomach 🕊️ 💗

So incredibly grateful this place is NOT by my house and that we have to make a concerted effort to come here because the custard here is INCREDIBLE! I'm warning you now be careful. The small was 910 calories but worth it from time to time. It's a drive thru or walk up to the outside counter kind of deal. The menu can be overwhelming but only because you want to try everything. There is something for everyone and the place is super clean. I got the Nutty Waffle Crunch. It has their standard vanilla custard, waffle cone pieces, nuts and MELTED chocolate chips!!!! Enjoy 😉

The frozen custard is fantastic, albeit a tad on the pricey side. Our kids absolutely love it and ask for it literally every day after school. From malts, to sundaes, to banana splits, to even Abita root beer on tap, Andy’s has pretty much everything to satisfy your sweet tooth. They have an outside area for and a drive through which generally moves pretty quickly. However, every Sunday evening, the line is pretty much halfway down the block so if you’re in a rush, don’t go on Sunday evenings. Nevertheless, Andy’s is pretty solid and is always a nice treat.

So my experiences with Andy's Frozen Custard are almost always positive. The concrete are incredible and they have so many different mix in options so you're always going to find something for everyone there. The employees there are super nice, very attentive and just incredibly kind. I really enjoy getting vanilla custard with expresso and then a big thing of their roasted pecans on the side. My daughter loves getting the fresh strawberries mixed into the vanilla custard and of course she loves her some sprinkles too. Finally my father is a big fan of keeping it simple, he loves just the plain vanilla custard, but he does also enjoy mixing in a light amount of M&M's. When it comes to the quality there we have probably visited there over 100 times in the last couple of years and we've had maybe like once or twice where they forgot a mix in or added the wrong one so overall it's really been a good experience. Unfortunately the other day, I did get a concrete and it was a complete disaster. So I did call to see if there was a chance of getting a remake and ended up speaking with the manager Maya. Maya was so nice and really went above and beyond to fix the situation. While I only wanted to have the one I had initially bought remade she said she would really love to make one for each member of my family. She literally made one for my daughter and then my father and lastly remade mine. As I've already stated it really was above and beyond and so not only is the product here amazing but the customer service is incredible as well! I apologize that this review has been so long but I do hope that it helps you and deciding to try Andy's Frozen Custard I promise that you will...

Andy’s Frozen Custard in Arlington, TX is the ultimate spot for dessert lovers! If you’re craving something sweet, creamy, and made fresh to order, this is hands down the best place in town. Their frozen custard is smooth, rich, and far creamier than traditional ice cream, and they have an amazing variety of concretes, sundaes, malts, and shakes to satisfy every craving.

The menu has something for everyone—from classics like the chocolate and vanilla concretes to seasonal favorites and specialty items like the Pumpkin Pie Concrete or BootDaddy Concrete (a must-try!). Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the quality is always top-notch.

The service here is consistently fast and friendly, even during busy evenings. The drive-thru makes it super convenient, but I also love pulling up, ordering, and enjoying a treat outside—it feels like a classic dessert stop with modern flair.

If you’re searching for the “best ice cream in Arlington TX” or “frozen custard near me,” Andy’s is the answer every single time. It’s perfect for family outings, date nights, or just a late-night sweet tooth fix. Every visit here reminds me why Andy’s Frozen Custard is a beloved favorite across Texas.

🍨 Pro tip: Add brownies or fresh fruit to your concrete—you’ll...
