I feel like I have to come up with an excuse for why I didn't enjoy these chocolates as much as everyone else.
Maybe I was too distracted by the beautiful and colorful decorations to fully comprehend all the amazing flavors that were exploding in my mouth?
Maybe the chocolate croissant and banana bread topped with dulce de leche I had just consumed 20 minutes prior at Leonora Bakery had put me in such a sugar overload my taste buds could no longer tell the difference between one type of sugar and the next?

Read moreI received a box of chocolates as a birthday gift and was amazed! Not only are the chocolates beautiful, but they taste great too. I'm allergic to nuts and don't normally eat these types of chocolates out of fear of cross contamination; Artisan Confections did a great job of making sure each chocolate was nut free. I can't wait to visit in person and order more. The Tahitian Vanilla Bean, Cinnamon Apple Caramel, and Lavender were a few of my favorites....
