Sorry, I was in the Arlington area and needed some Breakfast Tacos as the hotels breakfast had ran its course. I wanted to go to an off the grid/local eatery as the chain restaurants rarely have that homely touch. I looked at the area where I was staying and this restaurant had decent ratings/reviews which is why I choose it. One of the ladies was quick t greet us and accommodate our party which consisted of 7 people (3 adults, 2 teens, and 2 kids). The young lady who took our order seemed not be able to comprehend our order (as she kept repeating it and getting it wrong) which consisted of 10 tacos. Upon bringing is our order, she inquired who ordered the "potato and egg" (which no one had) and when we advised that no one had ordered, she insisted that someone must have, as she had it written down. We kindly advised that we had not ordered this type of taco and she was nice enough to have replaced the taco with little more banter. The only reason I bring this point up and am sure a potato and egg was not ordered, is because when she brought the rest of the tacos, I was short one taco and as I do not eat potato and egg, I was certain her 5 minute process of taking our order resulted in the error. In regards to the tacos themselves, the tortillas are store bought and seemed like they weren't even warmed up on a griddle/comal. I cant understand why an authentic (at least as it appears from the outside) would not have homemade tortillas. Dont get me wrong, the food/ingredients itself was hot and the food was tasty. I might be giving a critical review, which may be in part based on where I live and how good the local Mexican/taco restaurants are known for. If that is the case and Mexican food in the Metroplex are like this than it was it is. I have eaten at the chainy type restaurants around Dallas and they typically serve homemade tortillas and have excellent salsa, although their fajitas are not to my liking. Just dont want people to think that I'm being biased or over critical to this specific restaurant. Like I said, the staff was welcoming and they were attentive to our table, and even though there was confusion as to why the taco was not correct, they immediately fixed the...

Bogotes was a delightful experience! The ambiance of the restaurant strikes a perfect balance between cozy and elegant, making it an ideal spot for both casual meals and special occasions.

The menu offers a diverse selection of dishes, and I was particularly impressed by the freshness of the ingredients. I tried the grilled octopus as an appetizer, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned, bursting with flavor. For the main course, the seafood paella was a standout, rich, savory, and generously portioned.

Service was attentive without being intrusive, and our server was knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations. The only reason I'm giving Bogotes four stars instead of five is that the dessert selection felt a bit limited, and the item I chose, while good, didn’t quite match the excellence of the savory dishes.

I highly recommend Bogotes for anyone looking to enjoy a tasty meal in a lovely setting. I’ll definitely be returning to explore more of...

I forgot to take a photo of the food because I immediately wanted to try it out. I got the Chile Con Queso Tamales and a bowl of queso. Come here with an empty stomach because you'll be tempted to order the whole menu.

The tamales are wonderful and it was my first time trying this prepared with chili. The price is fantastic and they're filing. I still can't get over the price of what I paid for them because it was very inexpensive.

The queso is pretty good, as well. The size is generous, so if your appetite isn't huge order the small version. You'll get free chips and salsa at the beginning (the salsa is great, too, but if you don't have a tolerance for heat be warned!), but give their queso a try alongside it. The guacamole is also fantastic and made fresh.

The customer service is EXCEPTIONAL and they'll make sure you're taken cared of. There's an all you can eat buffet, as well, that's well priced. Give this place a shot and you'll fall in...

Since college, Bigotes has been my tried and true Mexican restaurant of choice. I’ll be frankly honest, I’ve never stayed off the menu to explore their other options as my go-to each and every time is their AYCE taco platter. This plate is all that is good in the world and the best part; you can eat to your hearts content. The plates always come out fresh and piping hot and are perfectly paired with the best chips and salsa you’ll find anywhere. This is possibly one of the best kept secrets in all of North Texas and I’m so glad they’ve continued to truck along all these years!

When life was to strong the night before and the body pays for it the next morning there are only a few things that can bring you back to life. Yummy hot spicy menudo. This places provides the cure. The menudo isn't amazing but because of the lack of options it's better than anything else we have found. The way best described is it's better than the can, but not as good as grandmas. The simple breakfast tacos where kinda ok but the ratio to tortilla and substance was far off, it felt like I was eating a flour tortilla by it self with a hint of eggs. Won't have them again.
