Meadowbrook Park — Attraction in Arlington

As I parked my car, I noticed people in the picnic area. I thought maybe it was a picnic or reunion or birthday party. Umm, NO! It was a group of men hanging out. ALL OF THEM -collectively- watched me walk by. Mega weird! I actually took my mace out of my pocket and put it in my hand, ready to spray! Then, there was a red truck that drove by with a guy staring at me through his window. Although I had only been at the park (to walk my dog) less than 5 MINUTES, I decided to head back to my car and get the HELL out of there! As I was scrounging to get my dog in the car, I noticed that the red truck had completed a uturn and was headed towards me. I haven't moved so quickly in a long time. I got in my car and hurried out of that horrible park. Honestly, not one person there did anything illegal or threatening. However, I felt unsafe. The park itself is just kinda creepy. Arlington has some nice parks. This park has a "what the hell is she doing here" vibe. I will never set foot in that park AGAIN! ...

What can I say about that part Meadowbrook Park well I've been going there for over what 35 years my son is 40 years old now that the first part I took him to in Arlington Texas to play basketball and he grew up playing basketball there now he have a son that's 15 and he played basketball there now I have a grandson that five and we take him there to play basketball but I like the trails I like walking the trails and running the trails I love the two different sized playgrounds for the children for the larger kids I love the shaded area the area to have the barbecue's and everything if I would give a negative to the park it would be the parties I believe that they should keep them up better but other than that is greatest right next to a golf course where you can play golf I just love it it has a center on the same lot and it's well kept at all times it's always clean it's always manicured and I really really enjoyed this metal Brook part...

To many grown men around even wen u rent out the place and ask them to leave .( remind u its a park for kids and family) It's dirty and smells bad around the rooftop and playground where kids play. Last time a dog was tied up to a table there with no owner or food anywhere by him . It's a cute set up and a very nice park for family . But they lack on checking up on the park and place the men " hang out " at . They care to much about the rec and not the park...
