Canales furniture has been my family’s store when it’s came to furnishing our home but my most recent visit has made me want to take my business somewhere else. Every time we had purchased in the past we received great customer service from sales rep and management also we always got the best prices and discounts for being loyal customers. My most recent visit I felt like the manager was more worry about making more money on sales than retaining a loyal customer. When I asked for better price than what the item was listed he took like $50 off with the condition I would give up my referral commission( took my brother to buy living room set). I said alright I guess, then when we picked up the furniture there was a bracket missing of one end of the couch, couldn’t find the middle piece and a corner of the sofa was torn. I didn’t worry too much because in the past canales had always taking care of any issue fast and made me feel appreciated but not this time. The manager (on New York and Abrams) claimed that the couch didn’t need the bracket when clearly there was a rail that needed that bracket to secure into, he did tell me where to find the missing middle piece and when I asked about the the tear on the couch he said for me to bring it back to them to replace including the piece that was missing the bracket. I told him I worked and could take them back anytime soon if they could come get them considering the missing part or the tear was not my fault and he refused. I called corporate several times and left voice mail for a call back and nothing. First time customer to Canales Furniture and it will not be my last! Saw a Queen Bedroom Set online, so I decided to visit the furniture store in person and see if they had the set available. Upon arrival, I was instantly greeted by Ms. Gabriela Caldera. We spoke about the set and it was not available in store to view, but there was a set Gabriela suggested, which was along the aesthetics to what I saw online. The set Gabriela showed us was GORGEOUS! Instantly, I knew my husband and I would want that set. Upon our request, she provided detailed price, breakdown of items and cost with all that we were interested in; which lead us to purchase the set. I appreciate the no gimmicks, and straightforward assistance at Canales Furniture. We purchased the set Saturday and Monday it was delivered and set up for us. We purchased our couch a couple months back but we're in the process of renovation in our home and moving and packing and had no where to store it. He helped me reschedule my pickup date twice because of setbacks with our moving in process with renovation. He was fast and efficient and explained everything in a very detail oriented way and was very helpful when answering any questions or concerns I had regarding our purchase.
