Every Friday evening I go over to my mom's house so we can have dinner together. She's 93 years old and doesn't order pizza by herself, so having it is a treat for her.
This Marco's is very new, and is convenient to my drive from Euless to Arlington. I had never ordered from Marco's before, but their location (and their prices) made it attractive.
I've seen the negative comments on here. But I'll tell you - the people who work there are amazing. Even when they're slammed and the lobby is full they do an awesome job. Super kudos to the staff.
More importantly, the pizza has been consistently awesome. 100%. Toppings are generous. Sauce is good. Just the right amount of crust. Prices are reasonable. I don't have a single complaint. Every week my mom comments how good it is and asks where I got it and the answer is always the same. I get it at Marco's in N Arlington.
I'll admit that preparation sometimes takes longer than the app says it will but that's a nit - nothing major - because when it's ready it's delicious so it's worth waiting for. Some of the functionality in the app is a little clunky as well, but that's not their fault. The important part is that when I order a pizza they make it and it's always good.
If I chose my pizza place based on Google scores I might miss this little gem. But I also feel people are far more likely to expend the time and energy to complain than to compliment. So here's my 2 cents from someone who goes there every week. They've earned my business, and my appreciation. I have no problem taking the time sharing that. Just know that your pizza makes a 93-year old mom happy. That said, I'll see y'all again...
Read moreI placed an order on March 26, 2024 at 10:42 pm. CLEARLY! , y’all stopped working at 10:30 or whatever , but however you people didn’t turn off the online ordering machine. I placed my order the order got canceled I’m assuming bc yall were getting ready to close. But yet the money got taken from my account. I called the store I’m assuming this was the manager, I explained the situation & asked did they have it. She’s telling me no, I’m like okay well then since it came out my account can you at least make the order. She’s like no I don’t have a ticket for it just wait until the next day and it’ll time out and you’ll get your money back okay. Next day comes I still haven’t gotten my money back I called again explained the situation again, I basically got written off like oh well the money will come back it’s not on us. When it most definitely is , but I have to take some accountability somewhere bc I should’ve known not to even order it this late. But also just to let you know as a manager you’re doing a terrible ! & I mean terrible job! , what manager tells a customer “you’ll just have to wait until it times out & shrug your shoulder” that’s not how you do business. & y’ all most definitely won’t be getting another penny from me . Oh & the money still hasn’t come back to my account but as stated, it’s nothing they can do , what yall can do is get a better online ordering system & better staff that actual care about their job/customers. Read moreI ordered from here on December 31st at 10pm. They closed at 11, but I called around 10:30 to see where my order was. They told me they ran out of dough and there is no reason to give me an order (wings and a salad without the pizza) the girl told me she cancelled my ordered and refunded me. I said okay. The following day January 1st, I get a text confirmation saying that my order is being made and it’s about to get delivered at 1:00 pm. I call this store and ask about it, she said that my order wasn’t in the system. I called the DoorDasher Mark S of Texas (who does DoorDash) and told him that there is no order there for you to deliver, he said he would go and tell them that I canceled.
Mind you I have his location because he has an active order. It showed he went to pick up the order and was going to deliver it. I called him twice afterwards and he no longer answered. “He handed the order to me.” At this point, I travel 30 mins back to the store and talk to the manager, who said that she accidentally pushed the order through and tried to cancel it from the previous night and that no DoorDasher came in to pick up my order. She said she would have the girl that closed the previous night to reach out to me so I left my name and number. I have yet to receive that call and that refund that I was looking for never came, instead this store proceeded to take the money out of my account, but I never received my product.
I say all this to say I love Marcos pizza, but this specific branch is horrible and scammers. AVOID...
