Read moreFoods been good every since they opened... repeat customer however recently tried the Mojarra Frita It was just ok. I expected it tome more seasoned. I won't order again. First time trying their fries as well. They're good. Previous review- BE WARNED Price you pay will be different from what's on the menu. The first time this happened to me earlier in the year, the lady couldn't explain it but then said the extra charge was because of the kind of meat I got. I caught it because I got one item. The subsequent times I've been here ( because the food is good!) the total bills were larger so it wasnt as easy to catch that I was being charged more so I didn't take the time to examine the price of each item. This time I went I only got 2 tacos so once I heard the total I immediately thought that doesn't sound right and questioned it. the tacos were 3.89 and not 3.75 as shown on the menu board. Well the lady pointed to a sign at the drive thru window that says every transaction will be charged an extra 4 percent. So many companies are doing this today. I consider it shady and it's aggravating that they're making us help pay their employees or pay towards their employees healthcare. Or wherever they decide to use the money. When i traveled to san Fran ca years back, it was written right on the recept that the extra I had been charged was to pay for their employees Healthcare. I'd rather these places just change the menu prices. Just add it there. No one wants to get their recipt and then discover they were just charged more than what the menu says. It just seems deceptive. I asked the lady if that sign was on the drive through menu as well and she said she didn't know but asked me if I still wanted the food or a refund. So that tells me some customers have opted for refunds and I don't blame them. It's the...
These are the best street tacos I’ve had in Arlington and I’ve attempted to eat at every hole in the wall possible. They’re better than Taxco.
Some of the negative reviews are super confusing. I ate here 3 times in the first week because I was so happy. I’ve eaten here a total of 7 times.
Salsa is what makes or breaks it for me. Their verde is emulsified, which is my preference and I rarely find anymore. The verde and habanero could be spicier imo.
El pastor reminds me of trompo style being that the fat is rendered down more and the edges are crispy. I like that. Flavor was great. I usually have to add salt, not here.
Birria meat is BOMB and my tacos were crispy because I ate them immediately. The consommé didn’t hit the first time, but has improved. It’s a bit murky and a little thick, but these tacos haven’t needed it.
Barbacoa was fantastic and so was the chicken.
The little foil packet of onion and cilantro is funny and kind of unnecessary. Started off small with 80% onions but the ratio has improved. I would rather have a scoop in my box, but that’s just me.
I love the lettuce taco option. Definitely unique and huge!! Comes with avocado. LOVES IT.
Breakfast tacos were good. A little pricey though. The size made up for it, but $3.95 ea. I better have my mind blown.
Finally, I love the service here. Maybe there’s a wait, but that’s because it’s fresh and I don’t mind that. Everyone is super nice and I love that they have Apple Pay.
This place is great. Go again if you had a bad experience. I’m all for supporting this shop and the colors...
Read moreGreat food morning shift was very friendly. So I went back that evening to take my kiddos because who doest like taco's. Horrible experience the lady was mixing a fresh batch of ochata which is what I came back for once I asked she said I won't charge you until I'm finished mixing it I'll call you when I'm done I said okay my kids ordered we paid they brought our food to the table. Waited for the ochata never heard anything so we finished eating decided I just wouldn't get it this trip. My son decided he'd buy us all a cheese cake (4) she rang him up and said $28 he said how much are the she said $5 he said well that should be $20 and some change she laughed and said that's right (weird) as we were walking out the door she started mixing the ochata as she watched us walk out. We were the only ones there besides a man so they weren't busy. I just thought it was weird. My kids are biracial so I know it's the reason for the weirdness. We've had this happen a couple of places so it's recognizable. We just left I just explained the situation to my children letting them know everyone's different unfortunately racism is real in this world we just have to pray for hatred hearts. I also explained Their Dollar is just as good as anyone else's. We live in this world but not of it. We're all God's children....
