If I could give zero stars, I would I had the worst experience there about three weeks ago or so with an employee by the name of Ashley in the self checkout. I don’t even know how she’s even employed. She showed the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. She was rude and would not give me formula that I needed for my crying baby that was in the car with her father all because I apparently didn’t go all the way around the store just so I could get formula that was right in front. There was only one man there in line already that told me I could go ahead in front of him, nobody was complaining so I didn’t get why she had a problem with it. Anyways we went back and forth about how I needed to go all the way around the store just to get in line which made no sense because there wasn’t a line just a man that let me go into the kiosk nor did I feel like it was necessary when all I needed was formula that was right there in the front. Once I got back to the car empty handed, my husband then tried to go get the formula himself, which he then overheard her talking loudly in front of all the customers about the incident that happened between her and I while he was waiting in line. He also got very upset exchange some words with the supervisor that was right there with her and we had to take our business elsewhere because they still didnt give him the formula, meanwhile my daughter was crying. Such a...

Read moreKroger has come a long way over the years. It used to be I wouldn't bother too shop there because their food had only one attraction--it was cheaper. But this was not just in a monetary sense. The quality was just not up there. And I'm sure they suffered trying to compete with the likes of the Tom Thumbs, etc. Kroger built their super stores to attempt to wedge their way back into that growing market that demanded that the food people put in their bodies was the best it could be. Of course the deli isn't the part of the store where you're going to find much if anything organic, but still even the products prepared and packaged by Kroger--their cole slaw and potato salad, the fried chicken necessarily cooked on the premises...are pretty darn good. They make a creamy cole slaw that I love. Normally when I buy something like this I have to doctor it up with my own additions of spices and condiments to make it really good, but this cole slaw flies on its own merit. There are also a limited number of products in the deli that you could find at the high-end competition, which, let's face it, are the sort of thing you go to the deli for. If you were merely looking to save money, you'd by your sandwich meats and cheeses over in the...
