Milroy OIP - Original Italian Pizza — Restaurant in Armagh Township

If you’re like I was debating between driving to the Burnham OIP or going here, just go to the Burnham one because the food is better. I wasn’t going to write a review as the woman at the counter was so kind, but once I got the food I was so disappointed, not to mention the 20 minute wait AFTER I had received the notification that it was ready, and I watched at least 3 other people come in and pick up orders quickly. A wait is to be expected during peak hours and I don’t fault them for that, but I ordered a HOT sub and waited 20 minutes for it to be completely COLD when I got it. It seemed like the bacon and chicken (overcooked) had been refrigerated and then just put right in the sub. The bread was good but that was about it. I asked for a side of ranch in the notes but did not get any; fries were not fresh cut, could get the same sort of taste for cheaper at a fast food restaurant to be honest. The place was great me and my sister had just come from hersey seeing r brother that had surgery on his head that wasnt doing to good but all and all we had good visit. We got lost ,,we found this little iltialn restraunt i went in sayn hello hello this wonderful happy lady came out of kitchen area she was the best happiest lady ive met in a long time so was the man cooking our food we needed to find this place to show us theres still good hardworkn ppl and happy ppl in this horrid world she jad me and my sister joking around and laughing and smiling i hope she gets to read this review so she can know how she helped 2 upset sisters and lightened our sprits just with her happiness she shared with us the food was terrific it was a very good place to eat at all the ppl were awesome but our waitress was the best ever thank u so much...

I hate to leave reviews like this but I tried contacting the restaurant and no one got back to me. We decided to try the OIP since it is under new ownership and they now have Gluten Free food and that is what I need. I ordered what I thought was "GLUTEN FREE" Chicken Alfredo for me and got half through the dish and got sick. My husband had some of it and he was fine so I know the meal itself was not bad. I have not felt well now for 4 days. I just don't want anyone else to have this experience or worse as some with gluten allergies experience other symptoms! Just disappointed all around and I hate to leave bad reviews but clearly no one wanted to...
