Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Artesia

Domino's, you've resurrected yourself like the proverbial phoenix, rising from the ashes of pizza obscurity. There was a promo this weekend for a 2-topping large pizza for $5.99. I know a good deal when I see one, so I'm not ashamed to say I had Domino's 3 of the last 4 days. I gave up on Domino's a long while ago, but I'm proud to say they're back on my cheap pizza rotation. It's all about the options, baby! Sweet, sweet options-

Crust - Choice of hand tossed, handmade pan, thin crust, Brooklyn-style & gluten-free. I go for the thin crust, due to the delectable crunch. I also feel better about myself because less dough = less carbs.

Toppings - The usual suspects are there. It's unfortunate that most of the pizza franchises don't offer anchovies anymore. Hey, I'm Asian, don't judge me. If you've never had anchovy pizza, it can be salty for those not accustomed to it. Personally, I love it. The Omega-3's are good for you, too! Today, I went for salami & bacon - perfecto!

Sauces - I love the garlic parmesan sauce. I can taste the garlic in every bite. There is no way that I am a vampire, because my love of garlic is absolute. I do not care if I reek of garlic all day, gimme lots of garlic & I'll be a happy camper. There is no such thing as "too much" garlic. Too much of a good thing is a great thing!

I've never ordered pizza from Domino's via this new-fangled Internet thing, but I've heard that it tracks the name of the person making your custom pie, along with the ETA. I may have to order a pie with this method to keep up with the times. Also, I always carry-out, so I can't review the delivery service. The staff have been cordial whenever I've dropped in, so no complaints there.

Domino's, your revamping has put you on the map of this reviewer. I can't wait to order more pizzas, this time w/ different crust & toppings that pique my interest at the time. Keep those specials coming & you'll have a loyal customer.

08/16/2022:: I ordered what I almost always order, A large hand tossed extra cheese,extra beef,extra pineapple w/light sauce. what I got was one of the worst pizzas of my life. I always ask for light sauce because regular is just too much IMO but light sauce doesn't mean NO sauce it just means not as much as regular.My pizza had basically no sauce hardly any cheese or toppings are on it.Its so dry and tasteless we found it to be uneatable. I called the store kind of expecting not to be taken very seriously and I was feeling a little frustrated ,irritated and put out but almost immediately my attitude was calmed by the manager and his willingness to make it right. he offered me another pizza that I can pick up tomorrow and even called back to find out what time we want it so it will be ready for us.So far I'm not impressed with this stores pizza[ Hopefully that will change] I am very impressed with the manager here[ Hopefully that won't change]. I'll try to update tomorrow if pizza is better or same I know for a fact it won't be worse lol(update pizza was almost perfect. Idk why but they just can't understand the concept of light sauce versus no sauce but it was a pretty good...

I ordered 5 pizza’s and paid online, my wife went to pick them up and waited by the door, no one came to the door it was 93 degrees outside. So she called and asked to have the pizza’s delivered to her car, they said that they would not bring the pizza’s to the car because we didn’t request the pizza’s to be delivered to the car! What! Really! They need to get Adults working there because they are going to lose a lot of business, these young kids are disrespectful. I had to go and pickup the pizza’s and I called and was told to come to the door so I waited in the car because of the heat and no one brought the pizzas to the door! I called again and asked how long are you going to make me wait? Kevin said you need to come to the door, so now I’m waiting at the door and I can see Kevin behind the counter and I’m waiting about 5 mins in the heat! A driver returns and Kevin asked the driver to get my pizza’s. Kevin and the employees in the store are very disrespectful. The owner needs to get employees that are helpful...
