On Superbowl Sunday 2023, I walk into Honey Bakery with my mom, wife and daughter to get my daughter a birthday cake. Today is her 11th birthday!! Upon paying for the cake, it turns out that the store does not accept credit cards and we were low on cash. The gentleman behind the counter said that we can come back and pay later and just take the cake and pastries home. For a minute, I thought we were living in a small town where this is practiced, but seems like he brought the small town into this big city...very impressive and GREAT customer service. We bought six chocolate covered strawberries, a chocolate cake, and other pastries which totalled to about $80. To trust complete strangers is unheard of these days. My faith in humanity has been restored by this great kind gesture.

Read moreI’ve been patronizing this bakery for over 25 years. Every time I go the prices have increased again. The place is dirty. I ordered my all time favorite, the strawberry filled sponge cake. The strawberries were rotten and tasted like chemicals. The fruit on top are not fresh and the whip cream was not real, it left an oily film in my mouth. However......
There are two Men here one young and one old. They are very rude, unprofessional and condescending. They don't like to wait on you when you decide which bread to get. Don't ask them questions because they don't like it. And you can never change your choice of bread because they will give you a bad attitude.
