I paid $500 for a consultation and provided all my EB1A petition files one week in advance. However, Tsang did not offer any specific suggestions tailored to my case. He seemed unfamiliar with my petition despite having ample time to review it. Instead of providing practical advice, the session felt more like a challenge to my qualifications rather than a constructive strategy session. Very disappointing and not worth the cost.
For such a high consultation fee, I expected a thorough review and actionable guidance, but unfortunately, I received neither.

UPDATE AFTER JOSEPHS RESPOND
I appreciate the response, but I want to clarify why I felt the consultation did not meet expectations. Lack of preparation: I paid $500, which includes time for prior review of my petition. However, during the consultation, it was clear that my case had not been thoroughly reviewed in advance. The discussion was more about challenging my qualifications than offering specific guidance based on my materials. No pre-consultation communication: We were in the same WeChat group before the consultation, yet no effort was made to ask how I preferred to receive feedback, despite now stating that “learning” this would be helpful. If this was truly a lesson learned, why wasn’t this done in advance? Public vs. private response: Instead of addressing my concerns in our private WeChat group where the appointment was arranged, the firm chose to respond publicly on Google. This seems more like an attempt at reputation management rather than genuine client care. Unhelpful approach: Instead of providing practical strategies to improve my case, the session focused on why my petition was weak. While constructive criticism is important, the lack of actionable next steps made the session feel like a waste of time and money. Disregard for client preferences: I specifically requested to use Google Meet for the consultation, yet they insisted on using Zoom and recorded the session without prior agreement. Google Meet also has a recording feature, so the switch to Zoom was unnecessary and felt like a disregard for my request.
At this price point, I expected a detailed review and tailored recommendations, not a generalized critique that I could have found online.
If you’re looking for a consultation that offers clear strategic direction rather than just a challenge to your case, I would strongly advise...
Read moreMy parents are small business owners and have worked with Joseph on several occasions to review business plans, create contracts, and we are now working with Joseph to create our DPOAs. He has a great way of explaining things in a way that we can easily understand, and he always puts my family’s best interests first. Other attorneys that we have worked with in the past never seemed very warm or personable, and we always felt rushed or brushed off, but Joseph makes us feel like a member of his own family.
Most recently, Joseph also helped my dad draft up a plan to help sell a business and guided my dad through the whole process. Joseph then helped him review the escrow documents and made sure that my dad understood the wording of the contract. I'm so thankful that my dad had such a trustworthy attorney in Joseph.
Joseph has not only helped my parents with their businesses, but he offers help with immigration issues as well. I recommended him to my friend’s husband who needed help to obtain his green card, and he was able to quickly get a hold of Joseph and his team and file his application. A lot of people file their application by themselves, but often get denied or delayed because of a small error on their application. However, Joseph and his team are extremely knowledgeable and meticulous, and not long after, my friend’s husband received his green card in the mail! He was then able to start working in the U.S. Overall, it was an extremely quick and smooth process.
I also referred my uncle here when he was having difficulty obtaining his green card. My uncle lives in Korea but before he left, he wanted to make sure that he had all the necessary documents and instructions before coming to the U.S. I connected my uncle with Joseph, and it turns out, my uncle was misinformed in a step of the green card process! Luckily, Joseph invited my uncle to his office after he landed in the U.S., and Joseph was able to help my uncle expedite his green card.
I highly recommend Tsang & Associates to anyone who needs help with their business or green card. They have helped so many of my family and friends so far, and I am...
Read moreI was told by this agency repeatedly that the chances of getting a visitor's visa for my mom were less than 5%. This agency came highly recommended, so I took the risk and paid a deposit of $2500, because I trusted them. After 9 months and an additional $1500 with no updates or follow-ups, they requested that we resubmit all the documentation we had previously provided, stating that it was now "outdated."
I spammed called them until someone finally called me back. During that conversation, they essentially said they were too busy and couldn't handle my mom's case due to its complexity. They told us they would only return a small portion of the $4500 we paid them and gave us some paperwork they had worked on. The paperwork was basically just the information we had given them, nothing special.
Fast forward 6 months later, we found a new immigration office, and not only is my mom now living in the US, but she also has a green card and works legally here with an SSN. The other place actually reviewed the FOIA, called the embassy, and found some discrepancies that allowed my mom to come over and become a premiant resident. She's here with us now and travels to Mexico every month without any issues.
We are still out all that time we wasted with the first agency and about $3000 of our hard earn money. So, if you just want a place that does paperwork, if your immigration case is simple, and you are willing to wait months at a time, then this is the place for you....
